G.FIN Charters invite les pêcheurs de tous âges et de tous niveaux à les rejoindre pour une aventure de pêche ou de récolte de coquilles Saint-Jacques. Rendez-vous dans les magnifiques eaux de Steinhatchee, en Floride, et laissez le capitaine Gene mettre son talent à votre service.
Tout l'équipement nécessaire sera fourni pour vous et votre groupe. N'oubliez pas d'amener vos amis et votre famille avec vous – la récolte de coquilles Saint-Jacques est amusante pour tous les pêcheurs, quel que soit l'âge et le niveau d'expertise !
Le capitaine Gene est pompier/ambulancier à temps plein et possède plus d'une décennie d'expérience professionnelle en pêche et en récolte de coquilles Saint-Jacques dans ces eaux. Il commence la saison à la mi-juin, qui se poursuivra jusqu'au début septembre.
Tout ce que vous avez à faire est d'apporter votre crème solaire, vos serviettes, votre nourriture et vos boissons et de monter à bord. Votre bateau pour la journée sera un skiff Anna Maria de 25 pieds avec suffisamment d'espace pour accueillir jusqu'à 6 passagers.
Ce skiff est propulsé par un moteur Suzuki 4 temps de 140 CV et est entièrement équipé d'électronique de navigation et de détection de poissons, d'équipement de sécurité, d'équipement de plongée avec tuba et de glacières pour garder vos coquilles Saint-Jacques fraîches pendant la journée.
Avec G.FIN Charters et le capitaine Gene, vous pourrez profiter de bons moments de rire, de bons moments et d'une expérience incroyable sur l'eau.

Had a great scalloping trip on a challenging weather day with Gene
4 Hour Scalloping Trip (AM) le August 2, 2025 • 4 adultes • 2 enfants
Captain Gene managed to give us a great scalloping trip on a weather day that could have been a disaster. We had a huge front of lightning storms light up the whole area about the time we were supposed to set off, and we were pretty sure we were going to have to cancel. Gene managed to push our start time by 3:00 hours and we headed out once the front had passed and it was safe. We still got the full time in and it turned into a really nice day. We were all first time scallopers and several in the party were not such strong swimmers to dive down in the deeper areas, but we still managed to get enough scallops to make a meal out of it (and would have gotten a lot more if we were more experienced and dedicated). Gene was very understanding and moved us to a shallower spot when several of our party were not able to get down to the deeper spots. Boat was very clean and well-equipped for scalloping.
Adult easter egg hunt with a delicious reward at the end...

Half Day Charter

Tough day for fishing with windy and hot conditions but Captain Gene worked hard to get us on fish and even extended the time a little to try another location. Nice boat with everything we needed to fish shallow water and plenty of quality equipment and tackle. He was very patient with the 8 and 9 year olds we brought along. It’s obvious that he knows the area and loves the job.

Capt. Gene was a great and we had a fun day on the water. He took us to several spots to catch Redfish and was patient in helping me (a novice) to bait my line and cast. At his recommendation we moved our reservation up a few hours earlier to avoid higher winds in the afternoon and he was really accommodating to our schedule. Good music, great communication and an easy transaction to give us a fun day on the water in Cedar Key. We’ll be back and hope that the fish are biting! I highly recommend booking with G. Fin.

This was my families 1st fishing charter experience. It is so hard to book when you are unsure of so much. I'm glad I got past that and booked with Captain Gene with G. FIN Fishing. The boat was very spacious and fun to ride in. Captain Gene was great to be around and he really took care of us. Didn't catch the trout we were hoping for, but caught many other fish. The highlight was the 20 + pound 3 foot Florida Gar. He put up a fight. He worked hard at moving us around trying to find the hot spot. We will definitely go again with G. FIN. Fishing.
