My son's birthday fishing trip couldn't have gone any better! The captain went above and beyond to make the day special, and it turned into an unforgettable experience. From the moment we left the dock, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure my son had every opportunity to catch fish. Seeing the excitement on my son's face throughout the trip made this birthday gift worth every penny. He had an amazing time and is already talking about going back. We will definitely be booking another trip with the same captain in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, memorable fishing charter!

My fiancé and I come every year for scalloping and this year we had an amazing time with Captain David Maki. We met our limit, had fun and felt safe. He was very knowledgeable on where to go to find the Scallops and had resources for who to clean Scallops overall it was a great time!

Huge thanks to Captain David for a memorable day! Not only did he put us on a variety of fish, but he was also wonderful with my daughter and her boyfriend, patiently teaching them new techniques and how-tos. The boat was exceptionally clean, and the overall experience was fantastic. We truly had a blast!

We are a group of four old fishing buds for over 40 years. Today was one of those memorable days we will always recall. Dave was gracious, friendly, helpful and supportive of our day and time together. we caught fish, but that never matters to us. its slways been sbout being together and catching up. Dave fit right in. We enjoyed it so much we are doing it again in three days.

This was the second trip with Capt. Dave in four days. He did not let us down, great trip again. Ditto to everything stated on first day. Looking forward to being back.

We caught some trout had lots of fun. Saw plenty of wildlife Dave was a great captain, very knowledgeable. We are definitely going to the booking him again.

My 12-yr old son and I made a two trip with Finntastick and had a great time. We caught plenty of redfish, trout, French grunt, and mangrove snapper. We got to see dolphins herding mullet and driving them in the air. We saw sting rays and a few big nurse sharks under the boat. We even caught a remora off the back of a big green sea turtle as it glided past my bait. The captain did a great job instructing my son on casting and strategy on the various types of species and habitats.

Unexpected cold front rolled in days before our trip and Captain David called several times to ensure we understood the change in temp and how it would dampen the bite. It was a trip for my 8 year old son and he had looked forward to it for so long, he still wanted to try. Captain David was positive, attentive, and likely moved more than he’s accustomed but we eventually found them. He bagged a 24” sea trout and nice red fish, needless to say, he came home pleased. Thank you Captain David for putting us in the absolute best possible spot to make a memory. We greatly appreciate your knowledge and working with us.
