Le capitaine Chris encadre des sorties de pêche dans les eaux d'Ocean City depuis 11 ans. De plus, Chris est titulaire d'une licence USCG, ancien membre de l'auxiliaire USCG d'Ocean City, vétéran de l'USAF, officier de police à la retraite et ancien conseiller municipal. Le Capt. Chris a pêché dans les tournois Ocean City White Marlin Open, Stone Harbor Invitational White Marlin et Jimmy Johnson 'Quest For The Ring'. Il est également diplômé du programme d'éducation sur les ressources marines (MREP) de la NOAA à Falmouth, Massachusetts, et Norfolk, Virginie.

Le Capt. Chris aime la pêche et ses '190' avis CINQ ÉTOILES le prouvent. Ses sorties encadrées se concentrent sur une excellente 'expérience globale en eau salée' pour tous. Il ne croit pas qu'une sortie encadrée devrait se limiter à remplir une glacière à poissons. Wee Cat Charters vise à satisfaire en offrant un service amical, une agréable sortie en bateau, un excellent matériel et un bateau propre/sûr.

Le bateau du Capt. Chris dispose d'un grand T-top (ombre si nécessaire), d'un écran solaire Sunbrella supplémentaire pour la poupe (sur demande), d'un banc arrière, de la musique Spotify, d'une radio VHF et de deux sondeurs. Le matériel de pêche comprend des moulinets Penn, des cannes Tsunami et principalement du matériel Yo-Zuri.

Les sorties encadrées consistent généralement à naviguer dans les eaux calmes derrière Ocean City, Longport, Margate et Somers Point. Certaines sorties remontent même les rivières Tuckahoe et Great Egg Harbor. Ensuite, il y a des sorties vers l'un des trois récifs océaniques, l'observation des dauphins et la pêche à la traîne. L'heure de départ de votre sortie est généralement basée sur la marée et la météo pour optimiser les opportunités de pêche.

Le capitaine Chris vous donnera toujours une évaluation honnête des conditions et ses meilleures recommandations en fonction de la marée, des prises et du niveau d'expérience des pêcheurs. Selon les conditions et vos souhaits, vos cibles principales seront le Bar rayé, le Bar commun, le Flet et le Requin.

Remarque : Pour des raisons de sécurité et de responsabilité, les nourrissons ne peuvent pas monter à bord du bateau. La crème solaire et le spray anti-insectes doivent être appliqués avant l'embarquement pour éviter les taches sur la fibre de verre et la contamination des appâts.

Perfect Family Fishing Trip with Captain Chris

We booked a 2-hour family-friendly fishing charter with Captain Chris for myself, my husband, and our two sons (ages 7 and 9). From start to finish, Captain Chris communicated clearly — from where to meet, to suggesting we push our time back an hour due to the tide so we’d have better success. On the boat, he was fantastic with the kids, explaining what he was doing and why, so they learned along the way. He worked hard to keep us in the best spots, and both kids caught a variety of fish. We had such a great time, and we’ll definitely book with him again on our next vacation. Captain Chris was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun for the whole family.

Incredible Fishing Charter!!

3 Hrs. Multi Species le July 20, 2025 • 2 adultes • 1 enfant

We had an incredible day at sea with Captain Chris! While other charter companies described the waters as "fishless", Captain Chris proved them wrong!! While fish are never guaranteed, Captain Chris is well equipped to increase the chances. We caught flounder, sea bass, flying fish and even a baby shark. We safely released them all back in the water!! Captain Chris is extremely knowledgeable about the waters and spends a lot of prep time evaluating radars beforehand to ensure safety for all passengers. He also took great camera shots throughout our time that looked like professional pics. I was able to just relax knowing that the memories were being captured. We highly recommend this charter if you are looking for some same safe, family fun!!!

Captain Chris made us feel welcome the moment we got on board. A retired police officer, his dedication and enthusiasm for fishing is obvious—he answered all our questions, shared stories, and guided all 4 of us through the experience. As newbies, we appreciated how he taught us the basics in a straightforward, patient way.

Captain Chris clearly knew the area well, drifting with the current to keep us in productive fishing spots. Almost everyone in our group caught something—flounder, bass, even small sharks! The just-over-two-hour tour was just long enough for us to get our feet wet experiencing the simple joy of fishing. Highly recommend.

Great time!!

Captain Chris is awesome. Very welcoming, very knowledgeable about fishing (obviously 😁), gave some great advice, great with kids. Took my wife and 2 young boys out and we all had a fantastic first time chartering a boat and fishing in the beautiful bay. Cranked some tunes, hit the throttle just a touch for a nice adrenaline rush in the morning and we all caught fish! Black Sea Bass, Sea Robins, and Sand Shark! Flounder were lurking but couldn’t hook ‘em. Next time..
Very highly recommend Captain Chris. You won’t regret it!
