Saltwater Safari Company maintient sa réputation en tant que service de sortie de pêche encadrée leader en Alaska et pionnier des zones de pêche hauturières de Seward, Alaska. Établie en 1990, les propriétaires Capitaine Bob Candopoulos et Capitaine Bobby Savino ont une expérience combinée de 60 saisons de pêche dans ces eaux. Avec leurs deux incroyables bateaux de sortie encadrée Delta de 53 pieds, Legend et Legacy, et le Renegade de 43 pieds, ils ont cartographié stratégiquement le fond océanique jour après jour, saison après saison, et ont été les pionniers des zones de pêche hauturières les plus incroyables que l'Alaska ait jamais connues !
Longtemps considérée comme l'une des principales destinations mondiales pour les pêcheurs sportifs, Seward, Alaska offre une grande variété d'opportunités de pêche pour répondre à vos besoins spécifiques. Située à seulement 2 heures d'Anchorage, Seward offre certaines des meilleures pêches légères pour le Saumon argenté et le Saumon royal, ainsi que des combats en haute mer avec le flétan géant du Pacifique. Des pêcheurs du monde entier convergent vers la petite communauté côtière de Seward, Alaska pour tester leurs compétences et tenter leur chance dans l'un des cadres les plus pittoresques imaginables !
Le Golfe est riche en tout ce qui est nécessaire pour soutenir cette pêcherie incroyable. Les récifs au large et les structures profondes abritent une variété extraordinaire d'espèces de poissons de fond. Il n'est pas du tout rare qu'un pêcheur chanceux combatte un flétan géant du Pacifique pendant que d'autres ramènent des lingue-morues monstrueuses ou d'énormes sébastes à œil jaune et sébastes noirs.
Les limites de prises sont les suivantes :
Flétan : 2 par personne (un doit faire moins de 28')
Sébaste : 3 par personne
Saumon : jusqu'à 6 par personne
Lingue-morue : 1 par personne
Morue du Pacifique : pas de limite
Notre équipage nettoiera vos prises et les mettra en sac pour vous, et des options d'emballage sous vide/expédition sont disponibles si vous le souhaitez.
*Nos bateaux accueillent des groupes mixtes de 12 à 16 pêcheurs. Pour réserver l'ensemble du bateau en exclusivité, vous devrez nous contacter
*À partir de 2026, des timbres pour le flétan sont désormais requis et seront achetés directement auprès de nous pour 20 $.
*Un supplément carburant pourrait être facturé si les prix du carburant dépassent 5 $/gallon

Lots of fishes! Great scenery!
Full Day Offshore –Halibut July/Aug le July 11, 2025 • 1 adulte
The boat was very nice and very well maintained. The fishing gear was also very good and well maintained. The fishing mates/guides prepared all the fishing tackle and baits very well, provided good guidance, and were quick to help people when they "hooked up!" The day I went out there were big 6 ft. - 7 ft. rolling waves, so the captain selected areas to fish that were a bit sheltered from the big waves. Most people on the boat (about 14 of us total) caught several fish; I landed a halibut, 2 coho salmon, 2 black sea bass, an "arrow-tooth flounder", and lost one salmon. The scenery is spectacular, and there's wildlife like puffins to see as well - I really enjoyed the whole trip. It was a bit bouncy though, and a couple of people gave up their breakfast! If you're vulnerable at all to sea sickness, medicate before to leave the dock!

Easy to work with and accommodating

Bobby was good with communicating and somewhat accommodating to me and my group as I added to my group a day or so before the trip. I do have a negative comment which may be towards fishing booker rather than saltwater safari (why I am leaving 5 stars for them) is that with the only highway between anchorage and Seward being shut down due to an accident from 4 am to 8:30 am the day of my 7am charter, I was unable to make it to the boat on time. I was not refunded for the deposit. It sucked having to miss out on fishing and losing the money but I guess It’s my fault for assuming the highway would be open.

Fantastic time!

Hard not to rate a fishing trip based on the results, but I will try. Thirteen guests, about half were Alaskan locals, several with many years of experience. Boat was great, crew was fantastic, and results were amazing. We went for several species. I think everyone limited out. I’m visiting from upstate NY state. Would definitely recommend, and would fish again with same company.

Made the best out of a tough situation

We had great weather and were expecting to do really well in terms of limiting out on fish. Unfortunately, we struggled to find the halibut (as did most other boats out on the water). The crew did a great job of being versatile and moving to locations where we could try to get the best out of our trip. Some of us did come home with halibut, but everyone was able to get their fill of rockfish.

Exciting and Beautiful

The crew were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The trip out was beautiful with snow capped mountains on all sides for most of the ride. The crew had everything set when it was time to fish and patiently worked with anyone having trouble with the gear. We all caught several fish a piece and our 11 &12 year olds had a blast. Highly recommend these guys for a fun halibut cruise.
