Located in beautiful Falmouth, this charter focuses on fun, fast-paced angling trips that'll have you going after some true saltwater superstars. But, sometimes Captain can meet you at Sea Wind on the Bay, Montego Bay. If you've always wanted to hook trophy-sized Mahi Mahi or Blue Marlin, come aboard and get ready to reel 'em in!

This part of the Caribbean sea offers up some truly first-class angling opportunities, and your captain warmly welcomes fishermen of all ages and abilities to explore these waters with him. You'll be spoiled for choice with a variety of trips that can be completely tailored to your wants and needs.

You'll be heading up to 6 miles offshore on your captain's 26' Boston Whaler center console, named the "Likkle Hooka 11." Powered by a 200 HP Yamaha engine, she'll take you and 3 other guests out to the hotspots in no time! On board, you'll find top-quality navigational and safety gear, including life vests for children aged 10 and up, and a private toilet. She's also equipped with outriggers, and a fighting chair for all you hardcore anglers out there!

When it comes to the species on offer, it's all about big game here. Depending on the trip you opt for, and when you choose to visit, you'll have the chance to hook a real "who's-who" of hard-fighting fish. Get ready to battle Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Blue and White Marlin, Wahoo, Sailfish, and plenty more. Your captain will be on hand to help you reel in your catch. Want to earn bragging rights by trying out a totally unique technique? Ask him about bowfishing!

Your trip includes top-notch rods, reels, and tackle, and your captain will clean and fillet your share of the catch. Bring a valid fishing license and some fighting spirit, and get ready for battle with Jamaica Charter Boats!

Half Day with Captain Gary
Half Day Trip (AM) le December 30, 20192 adultes2 enfants
We took a half day trip with Jamaica Charters. I communicated via messenger with Captain Del Ray (the boat owner) for weeks leading up to the trip. I found him to be pleasant and helpful. We even paid extra to have him pick us up at our hotel to drive us to Falmouth where his boat is. (suppose to be 25 min from hotel) We ended up not taking the long car ride, in fact we paid $60 do go just a few miles and his boat picked us up on a dock near our hotel. We did not really speak with the captain very much as he was up top driving the boat the whole time. My wife and kids took turns sitting up top with the captain. The first mate however was very talkative and friendly. First mate was always changing baits, reeling up to pull trash of the hooks, and making sure we were all doing ok. We had a bad day fishing, but the trip was good. The exhaust from the boat (diesel fuel) was pretty strong at times, but that is normal on these boats. It all depended on the way the wind was blowing. If it is too much for you you can always sit up with the captain. We ended up catching 2 Mahi Mahi, so each of my boys got to reel one in. These were caught with in 30-40 minutes of starting, so we changed the original plan of half bottom fishing/half trolling to do only trolling.(which may have been a mistake, but we all agreed on it and the kids and wife fell asleep so we just rolled with it. The crew seemed surprised when we wanted to take the fish and have it cooked. Wasn't a big deal just seemed odd. If you get the first mate that we had this trip is totally worth it. Like they say there is a reason they call it fishing and not catching. These guys worked hard to get us on fish, they just were not biting today. If there was guaranteed fish the cost of the trip would be $2000 instead of $550.

Fishing in Jamaica!
Half Day Trip (AM) le June 7, 20194 adultes
We went out at 7:00 A.M- didn't get a bite in 4 hrs. The mate worked very hard in baiting the hooks and changing bait- but no bites. Don't know if this is typical Jamaican fishing. Boat left on time - was picked up on time and brought back to resort as promised. Never met the Captain!
