Le Capitaine Labonne est un Mauricien natif qui pêche depuis qu'il est en âge de tenir une canne. Si vous aimez une touche d'authenticité locale et d'histoire en plus de votre action de pêche, alors c'est le capitaine qu'il vous faut – il a commencé à travailler sur le bateau de son père quand il était jeune, et utilise maintenant ce même bateau pour organiser une variété de sorties de pêche ! Sa spécialité est la pêche au gros, donc si vous voulez combattre d'énormes Thon albacore, Coryphène, Marlin et bien plus, vous serez entre de bonnes mains – quel que soit votre âge ou votre niveau de compétence.
Vous pêcherez depuis le bateau à pont Nabridas de 25 pieds de votre capitaine, conçu pour accueillir jusqu'à 4 invités et vous transporter vers les meilleurs spots en toute sécurité et confort. Il est équipé d'un matériel de navigation haut de gamme, de gilets de sauvetage et d'équipement de plongée avec tuba pour les invités qui souhaitent explorer ces eaux sous un tout autre angle. Pour les pêcheurs passionnés, il y a des tangons pour maximiser votre potentiel de pêche à la traîne, et un fauteuil de combat – parfait pour combattre le Coryphène ou le Voilier de vos rêves !
Le Capitaine Labonne offre à ses invités une grande variété d'options de pêche, vous trouverez donc une technique qui vous convient parfaitement. Vous aurez l'occasion de pêcher avec du matériel léger pour la Bécune européenne, la Bonite à ventre rayé et le petit Thon albacore – cela vous procurera beaucoup d'action directe ! Essayez un matériel plus lourd, et préparez-vous à ramener d'énormes Thon albacore, Coryphène, Thazard-bâtard, puissant Marlin et bien plus encore. Vous pouvez également tester vos compétences en pêche de fond contre une variété de Mérou, Baliste commun et poissons locaux.

morning fishing and snorkeling

fantastic 5 hour morning trip with Captain Labonne, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. To start with, he picked us up as close to our hotel as possible, which was really appreciated. We had requested bottom fishing as trawling for big game makes me sea sick, all the equipment & bait was provided and was in good order. Labonne asked us what we would like to do & what we may want help with, which was great as i do like to do the whole process myself, but good to know he would help if needed. We cought several species of fish & when the currents changed and the fish stopped biting Labonne took us to several locations and depths to get bites. We had asked if we could go snorkelling after fishing, and Lebonne took us to an amazing spot, fantastic corals and fish with unbelievably clear water, and we never felt rushed. He even told us where & when to go snorkelling to see turtles.
Fantastic end to our Mauritian holiday. Thank you

great afternoon fishing with Captain Labonne and Ivan

we had great time with my son during this afternoon trip at Mariaboat. my son (11 years) caught many fish including barracuda and yellow tail grouper. captains were attentive, patient and fun to chat during 4 hours of popping and trawling. we strongly recommend Maria boat who are considering for a fishing charter in the area.

had an exciting day on the water. put to much pressure on myself to catch a “once in a lifetime fish” - crew supported me and cheered me up if we lost a fish.
could even go an hour longer for a additional amount.
got a nice bonito (still cannot believe how strong they are)

Amazing trip, great crew, would go again in a heartbeat

Jean luc and Evan were extremely knowledgable and worked hard to get my target fish and so we got a double take of wahoo as well as smaller skipjacks. The sun rising over le morne as we headed out was a sight to behold, and I was well prepared for the trip as they contacted me well in advance with all required information. I lost mobile signal en route to the meeting point but as their instructions were extremely clear this wasnt a problem. They speak multiple languages so the day went very smoothly and I will definitely return one day.
