We were unable to find a boat that could accomodate our group of 5 at such late notice and this became available. Our family of 5 had the trip of a lifetime as Cliff drove us far out to sea to the perfect spot, while Randy handled the fishing and showing us how to succeed. We caught 4 pink salmon and it was thrilling to watch our children have such a memory. We love Alaska and can’t wait to return someday. When we do, we are booking here again. We also saw humpback whales, bald eagles, sea lions, and the most beautiful vistas one can behold with majestic mountains layering one another as far as the eye can see. Our guides also went above and beyond and helped us get connected with a place on the dock that quickly prepped our fish as our carry on the plane instead of the cost of shipping it.
After booking the charter I got a hold of the charter company through the App and they were helpful. We got picked up right by the cruise ship. Captain Tim and Sam helped us out and they took us to Captain Tim's favorite spot. We put the lines in the water and was helped by Sam to learn how to Halibut fish. Within the first hour of fishing we had limited out on Halibut and one person even caught a Cod fish. Tried some Salmon fishing and they weren't biting and came back to the dock. Great experience even though we didn't get any salmon.
We had a fantastic charter out of Juneau today! The weather was typical Southeast Alaska—off and on wet—but it never turned into a full downpour, and the boat handled the mildly choppy waters incredibly smoothly. Along the way, we were treated to some amazing wildlife sightings, including Bald Eagles, Dall’s Porpoises, and even a whale spout. What really set this trip apart, though, was the crew. Honestly, this was one of the best charter crews I have ever fished with. Deckhand Ibra was incredibly personable, patient, and helpful from start to finish. He kept everyone taken care of and made the day run seamlessly. Captain Ben was top-tier. He has a great personality, a quick sense of humor, and kept everyone’s spirits high and encouraging even when the bites slowed down. What I appreciated most was his initiative to teach us a bit while we fished—he explained how and why the downriggers worked, shared insights on current local fish management strategies, and taught us about the different species. When we did hook into something, his enthusiasm was contagious. As for the catch, our boat of five landed four halibut, one chum salmon, and one very large king salmon. While we had hoped for a few more bites, some days are just like that, and the crew did everything they could to put us on the fish. Overall, it was a thoroughly pleasant experience, and I would highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Ben and Ibra. We’d absolutely fish with them again!
My son and I did a fishing trip and the Capt and crew made sure it was a great experience. Had a blast with my son and 4 other individuals looking for the same kind of experience. Thank you so much! Trip is awesome for those with or without experience. Though you can get your licence and stamps from the boat it is easier if you have them in hand upon arrival. Capt and Crew helped get everything we needed.
Great charter off the rack. Was worried as just picked out from Viator tours as I have been always been referred prior fishing trips. Great boat, knowledgeable captain and hard working first mate. Could not have been better. Did half salmon half halibut which would definitely do again. Also got to whale watch as we went from one spot to other. Cross this off my bucket list !
we went out with KC and Loren and we had a great day. they worked their tails off. we caught some salmon and all caught at least 1 halibut some caught more than 1. had a real good time. can’t complain. they took real good care of us.
My wife and I each caught a halibut, silver grey rockfish and each a couple of cod. Good time was had by all. The captain and first mate was extremely informative and fun.

captain and crew were absolutely great. we had an awesomw ime and my daughter was evwn able to reel in her first ever salmon. would definitely book again.

fishing is fishing, on fish all day, they just had a case of lock jaw. great trip
