Vous passerez la journée avec le Capitaine Steve lui-même, qui possède plus de 2 décennies d'expérience pour emmener les gens en sorties de pêche exceptionnelles. Il se fera un plaisir de vous montrer les ficelles du métier et vous emmènera aux meilleurs spots pour passer un excellent moment ensemble.

L'Alumaweld Pacific de 31' est un excellent bateau tant pour les pêcheurs expérimentés que pour les débutants. Il y a suffisamment de places assises pour les 6 pêcheurs et un chauffage pour vous garder au chaud. Ce bateau est réputé pour ses hautes performances et sa navigation en douceur.

La pêche dans la Baie de Crescent City est excellente, en particulier pour le Sébaste et la Lingue-morue. Pendant la saison ouverte du crabe, vous déposerez également des casiers pour ces savoureux crustacés. Parmi les autres espèces que vous pourrez cibler figurent le Saumon argenté et le Saumon royal. Lorsque l'eau est propice, nous ciblerons le Thon germon.

Le prix comprend des cannes et moulinets de première qualité. Vous utiliserez des cannes Stryker et des moulinets Daiwa pour la pêche légère. Tous les appâts pour la sortie sont également inclus. Après la sortie, le capitaine filetera vos poissons pour vous. Ayez une glacière avec de la glace dans la voiture, prête pour ramener vos poissons à la maison.

Toutes les personnes du groupe de plus de 16 ans devront acheter un permis de pêche avant le jour de la sortie, avec les timbres appropriés pour les espèces que vous ciblerez. Vous devriez apporter votre propre nourriture et boisson, crème solaire, lunettes de soleil et un chapeau. Portez plusieurs couches de vêtements, et vous serez prêt à partir !

10/10 fishing trip

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our guided fishing trip, truly a 10/10! The captain and his crew went above and beyond to make the day unforgettable for me and my son. From the moment we stepped on board, they made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. We caught more fish than we ever expected, and the excitement on my son’s face made it all worth it. Even when I ended up getting seasick, the captain was so kind and checked on me often, making sure I was as comfortable as possible. It didn’t take away from the trip at all, that’s how great they were! You can tell they genuinely care about giving you the best experience. We’ll definitely be booking again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly fishing trip!

Absolutely five stars for Steve Huber and his charter fishing company out of Crescent City, California! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I surprised my husband and our two kids (ages 12 and 8) with a 6-hour fishing trip during our vacation, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of their entire trip. Since we were traveling with dogs, I stayed back at the campsite, but Steve made sure I felt part of the adventure the whole time! He texted the night before with super helpful reminders—like making sure the kids took Dramamine. Thanks to that heads-up, no seasickness at all!

Steve clearly knows the waters well—he took them right to the best spots, and they caught an impressive haul. He also sent pictures and videos throughout the day, along with updates about when they’d be back, which was such a thoughtful touch. Both Steve and his deckhand were friendly, professional, and amazing with the kids, making the trip exciting and comfortable for everyone.

To top it all off, they filleted the fish right off the boat so we could cook it up that evening back at our campsite. Fresh fish for dinner after a successful day on the water? Perfect.

If you’re in the Crescent City area and looking for a fishing charter, don’t miss out on Steve Huber. It’s worth every penny—and then some!

If you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure, look no further than Crescent City Fishing with Captain Steve Huber and his top-notch deckhand, Kai. From the moment we stepped on the boat, it was clear we were in expert hands. Steve made sure everyone had taken their Dramamine, eaten their biscuit with butter, and limited the coffee—because this crew means business when it comes to smooth sailing and serious fishing.

We hit the limit in about 45 minutes—Rockfish, Blue, Canary, and Black! It was non-stop action. Every few minutes: Fish on! That was about all I could say, because the fish were biting so fast I didn’t have time for much else. And best of all? Not a single person chummed. Now that’s my kind of fishing trip.

Kai was awesome—attentive, friendly, and right there when we needed anything. We even got to help bag the fillets at the end, making the whole experience feel hands-on and rewarding.
