Pêchez dans les eaux riches du lac Michigan avec l'une des sorties encadrées les plus anciennes et les plus établies de la région. Au départ de South Haven, Maykin Baykin Charters invite les pêcheurs de tous âges et de tous niveaux à les rejoindre pour l'une de leurs sorties passionnantes. La sortie encadrée est dirigée par le capitaine Robert Braley, un habitant de la région, qui pêche dans ces eaux depuis 1980 et a commencé à organiser des sorties encadrées peu de temps après.

Votre bateau pour la journée sera un Blackfin Cruiser de 32 pieds, propulsé par deux moteurs Crusader de 330 CV. À bord, vous trouverez des équipements de communication et de navigation de première qualité, tels qu'un GPS, une radio et un sondeur. Le bateau est également équipé d'un réfrigérateur et de toilettes électriques. Tout l'équipement de sécurité nécessaire est également présent, y compris des gilets de sauvetage pour les invités de tous âges. Les enfants de moins de 6 ans doivent porter les gilets en permanence.

Lors de toutes les sorties Maykin Baykin, vous disposerez de cannes et moulinets Shimano de classe mondiale, ainsi que de tout le matériel dont vous aurez besoin pour les espèces que vous prévoyez de cibler pendant votre sortie. Jusqu'à 6 pêcheurs peuvent participer à l'une des sorties proposées, et vous pouvez vous attendre à avoir jusqu'à 12 lignes de traîne à l'eau en même temps. Préparez-vous à beaucoup d'action ! Vous testerez vos compétences contre certaines des espèces lacustres les plus prisées, telles que le saumon royal, la truite arc-en-ciel (Steelhead) et la truite de lac.

Sur la liste restreinte des choses à apporter pour votre sortie avec les capitaines Robert et Kevin figurent votre choix de nourriture et de boissons, un permis de pêche valide et de la crème solaire.

Il est maintenant temps de réserver une date et de rejoindre une sortie encadrée avec plus de 65 ans d'expérience combinée pour votre prochaine aventure de pêche ! Les capitaines Kevin et Robert, qui dirigent également le bateau, possèdent de nombreuses années d'expérience sur le lac Michigan.

We were setup with Capt Kevin and First Mate Steve for our trip (Capt Bob is the owner and your main contact). We’re very inexperienced anglers and had never being trolling on the Lake before. Kevin was a very experienced fisherman and definitely was quick to set out the rods and know when the fishing were biting. He is a very passionate fishermen. We caught 7 fish on our half day (2 Coho, 1 King, 4 trout). They made it very easy to enjoy the day and really put in the effort to find as many fish as possible. I’d highly recommend this charter for any experienced or novice angler.

🎣 Five Stars for Effort and Hospitality We spent the day fishing with Maykin Baykin Charters out of South Haven, Michigan, with Captain Bob and First Mate Kevin leading the way. While the fish had other plans—only one small coho salmon made it aboard—the crew didn’t let that slow them down. Bob and Kevin worked tirelessly trying to find an active bite, adjusting tactics and staying upbeat the whole time. Their knowledge, effort, and friendly attitude made for a positive experience overall. Some days the fish just don’t cooperate, but these guys gave it their all—and that’s what matters. We’d definitely recommend Maykin Baykin Charters to anyone looking for a well-run trip with a hardworking crew. Thanks again, Bob and Kevin!

The crew on Maykin Baykin were outstanding and went above and beyond to make our trip memorable! Captain Bob Suggested we start an hour early due to the bite being strong early on, and boy did it pay off! We caught 15 on our day out on the water. There were many charters in South Haven, and we decided to go with one of the most experienced and high rated and we couldn’t be more happier. Captain Kevin and his mate Steve made our group very comfortable and welcoming. I would highly recommend booking these guys again!!

Captain Kevin was great. We went out without his first mate. The 8 hr am trip started with1 ft. Waves and changed early into 3 ft. Rollers. Still, fishing we landing 4 king, 2 steelhead, 2 coho and we lost 9. FISHING as it should be, with catches and losses including sea sick passengers. Kevin did it all, he kept the lines well tended too, manned the net, kept the boaton course and was quite conversive. We will do it again next August😎
