Rejoignez le guide professionnel Bill Divens pour une journée passionnante de pêche au saumon ou à la truite arc-en-ciel (Steelhead) à bord de son bateau à jet Willie de 25 pieds. C'est l'un des bateaux les plus grands, les mieux équipés et les plus confortables de la Rogue. Vous utiliserez du matériel de haute qualité optimisé pour cette pêcherie, notamment des cannes Lamiglas et des moulinets compteurs de ligne Daiwa. Il s'agit d'une sortie privatisée. Votre groupe aura le bateau pour lui seul.
Les truites arc-en-ciel (Steelhead) d'hiver sont abondantes de janvier à mars. La montaison est si abondante que vous êtes autorisé à garder les Steelhead sauvages de plus de 24 pouces, en plus de toutes les Steelhead d'élevage. Vous pêcherez à l'ancre et braverez les éléments uniquement pour combattre les Steelhead. La plupart de ces sorties se déroulent dans la forêt nationale de Rogue Siskiyou.
En mars, les saumons royaux de printemps entrent dans la Rogue et peuvent être capturés jusqu'à la mi-juin. Vous jetterez l'ancre dans des courants intérieurs plus doux et pêcherez avec des anchois ou des cuillères tournantes pour les saumons en mouvement. Vous pêcherez les Springers dans la forêt nationale, loin de la Lower Rogue bondée. La pêche de ce qui est sans doute le saumon le plus savoureux de la planète est une sortie de rêve pour de nombreux pêcheurs !
Les saumons royaux de la montaison d'automne entrent dans la Rogue début juillet et la montaison s'intensifie en août pour atteindre son pic en septembre. Si les conditions d'eau le permettent, vous concentrerez la plupart de vos efforts dans la forêt nationale. La montaison des Kings dure jusqu'en octobre avec une montaison tardive de grands géniteurs de la rivière basse entrant dans la rivière.
La Rogue accueille une montaison spectaculaire de saumons argentés ('Silver') de la mi-septembre à la mi-octobre. Pleins de combativité, les Silvers sauteront en l'air comme une Steelhead et se battront avec acharnement comme un King. Vous ciblerez ces combattants acrobatiques en utilisant des cuillères tournantes, de petits leurres et des anchois.

Capt .Bill was very knowledgable and personable. Even though we did not catch any fish my Grandsons were able to be on the river and learn about the river and surrounding area. They had a very good time and look forward to coming back.

A couple of pros and cards!

Captain Bill and first mate River were on time when we arrived for an early start on the Rluge River. The steelhead were running and we thought that we had as good a chance as anybody of picking up a few. We went up river to a favorite spot that they knew set our lines and waited and I’ll be darned if in five minutes we didn’t have one on. It was quite a fight for a fish and it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, when we got him in the boat we realized he was a little too short and sent him on his merry way. The rest of the day we were just fishing, we weren’t catching. But that’s how it goes and we had a really nice time out on the river on a beautiful day. I got to spend some time with my son’s and for that I thank both Captain Bill and deckhand ROver for a fine day. These are the guys you want.

My son & I met Captain Bill on the Rogue early on a foggy morning in August. A nice smile, & a firm handshake greeted us for a nice day of Chinook fishing, & within 30 minutes I was fighting a 17 lb’r !! The fish being fresh from the ocean, had a lot of life in him, but Captain Bills’ experience really shines through even when the fish tried to go under the boat in the current amongst lots of fellow anglers, Bill put him in the boat. Thanks for a trip my son & I will never forget!

Before the trip Captain Bill warned us about slow fishing and asked if we would like to cancel. Since we were in it for the experience we let him know we would be going. Also in the email he let us know what to bring and answered all our questions. Fishing day we arrived at the landing at the same time met Bill and first mate River. They invited us into the boat went over the ground rules (3) and we were off. Captain Bill and first mate River were very detailed and patient with the kids since this was their first time using these kind of reals. All bait and tackle were prepared before hand and frozen. Everything was rigged for us every time and checked for proper spin in the water. All we had to do was catch the fish but as stated earlier it has been slow. In the end my wife caught the only salmon of the day and it was the biggest fish she has ever caught. Even though the kids didn’t catch a fish they loved the trip. All in all good people that make the fishing fun and memorable-plus.

Fabulous Day with Bill and River

My husband and I fished with Bill and River in mid-August and had a fantastic day. We appreciated their professionalism, expertise, good humor, and conversation throughout the day. We were early in the season and upriver was still too warm for Chinook to be making their way upstream, but despite that we still caught four lovely jacks. Bill is a great communicator and we knew what to expect, where to go, etc. It was a super fun experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Bill and River!
