Relax, enjoy, and have some serious fun catching fish together with Jig This Charter Fishing. Your host is Captain Chris Marseglia, a lifelong angler with a great desire to take others out on the water and make their fishing adventures as best as possible. Based out of Solomons, Maryland, he can take you to the area's inshore and nearshore waters and provide a fun and productive trip. Pick your day and join him aboard.
The boat you'll be using for the adventure is a 52' Jefferson saltwater fishing boat and can carry 6 customers. Running on twin 735 HP Detroit engines and rigged with various navigation electronics, it will take you to the fishing spots in no time. The boat is wheelchair-accessible and has a flybridge, toilet, and outriggers. A first mate will also be on board.
On your trip, you'll mainly be fishing for Striped Bass, Spanish Mackerel, Rockfish, White Perch, and Bluefish. To attract your targets, you can try bottom fishing and trolling. You and the crew will be keeping the fish you catch, and for some species, Capt. Chris offers cleaning and filleting after the trip.
The captain will also provide you with rods, reels, tackle, lures, as well as fishing licenses. The only things you need to bring are your favorite food and drinks to stay refreshed.

My family and I had a great day fishing with Captain Chris. He was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. He was good with my 3 kids and explained a lot about the waterway, fish and wildlife. We would book a trip with him again.

Excellentayyy! Capt. Chris was kind enough to drive me to the nearby bait shop at the boating dock to get the right bait. He even gave me a quick lesson on how to filet "Spot". First time fishing for four high school seniors who loved it.

We spent 6 hours with Captain Chris and Jay fishing for Spanish Mackerel. They were great and very knowledgeable, their expertise truly showed. We brought in 31 Spanish Mackerel and had a great time on the Bay with them. If you’re looking for a great trip with an amazing crew do not look any further and book your trip now with Captain Chris. 5 Hour Trip – Bottom Fishing (AM) le September 17, 2022 • 6 adultes
I can’t say enough about the great fishing experience we had with Captain Chris and Jig This Charter! We happened upon Fishing Booker as our original trip was canceled and needed another option to salvage our plans. Within 1 hour Captain Chris responded. All but one in our group of 6 were new to fishing but Captain Chris was patient and immediately responsive to all our questions. He helped guide us and gave us tips that led to a catch within 1min of our start. In fact the fish were plentiful and our inexperience didn’t prevent us from collecting an abundance of fish!! Captain Chris was very experienced knowing all the great spots and when to move locations or hold in place. There was also plenty of space for all of us to fish at the same time. It was such fun and I can’t wait to go again soon!
