TJ BOOM Fishing a été fondée par le capitaine TJ. Natif du Texas, il pêche dans la Lower Laguna Madre depuis qu'il est enfant. Il a grandi en sachant qu'il encadrerait des sorties dans ces eaux et partagerait ses connaissances avec d'autres personnes.

Sa mission est d'enseigner aux futurs pêcheurs de ce sport et l'importance de la conservation. Le capitaine TJ est certifié par Texas Parks and Wildlife en tant qu'instructeur de pêche pour les jeunes et est certifié depuis 4 ans.
Votre aventure commence sur un bateau Dargel de 24 pieds qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 pêcheurs. Ce nouveau modèle a été construit en 2019 et dispose du dernier moteur hors-bord Suzuki de 200 CV. En plus d'un équipement de navigation moderne, le bateau dispose également d'un vivier.
Explorez les eaux côtières de la région et ciblez le Tambour rouge, le Grand tambour, le Flet, la Truite de mer tachetée et le Vivaneau des mangroves. Alternez entre différentes techniques de pêche et voyez laquelle vous rapporte le plus de poissons.
Le capitaine TJ s'occupera de votre équipement de pêche, y compris les appâts vivants et les leurres. Il fournit également de l'eau en bouteille pour la sortie et nettoie vos prises une fois la pêche terminée. Vous devez seulement acheter votre permis de pêche et emporter vos collations.

We had a fantastic trip with TJ Boom. He provided top-quality gear and did a great job teaching me and my 13-year-old some new techniques for catching trout. TJ was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly knows the water well. We caught plenty of trout, including a few nice keepers that turned into excellent fish tacos later that day. Highly recommend booking a trip with TJ if you’re looking for a fun and productive day on the water.

Great Experience

I took my son-in-law and three of his four boys on this trip. We had a fantastic time and the boys all caught fish which was a wonderful experience. That said, I would make certain that you are clear as to payment information. I did pay the $90 reservation fee and expected to pay the rest with a credit card. However, I subsequently learned that our guide could not accept credit cards and we made other arrangements. Aaron was a wonderful guide and he was great with my young grandsons. He was nothing short of OUTSTANDING! I also met TJ and found him to be engaging and gregarious. Aside from the minor "bump in the road", we had a great time. Thank you TJ and Aaron.

We had great time with our fishing guide Captain Gibson on August 4th, 2025. He was personable, friendly, and engaged in conversation. He shared some great fishing stories, area knowledge and history.
The weather was great, we caught fish and had a great time on our experience. Would and will definitely recommend TJ Boom Fishing to anyone looking for a good fishing trip. We felt the prices were fair and reasonable and we felt safe and comfortable.

Second trip with TJ!

This is our second trip with Captain TJ. We got our trout limit before 7:45 am and went looking for Reds. We threw artificial and caught and released. We ran into a good school of large reds and hooked up for a good drag pulling Red. Back before noon for another successful trip. WE WILL BE BACK!

A great captain and guide. We on the fish most of the morning. We moved to stay on them as soon as they stopped hitting. TJ is a professional at his craft providing his guests expert instruction, patience, and fun. We are already planning another trip and it will definitely be with TJ.
