If you are looking for a relaxing day of fishing, lovely scenery, and lots of fun - then hop aboard 'The Green Eyed Lady' with Captain Mike Smith Fishing Adventures. Fishing has been a part of Capt. Mike's life for as long as he can remember. It started as a hobby, then a summer job during school days, and a retirement job. Over the years a lot of things have changed, but his passion for fishing never did.

Explore the waters of Niantic Bay and Long Island Sound on a 23' Parker boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. This new center console was built in 2019 and features the latest navigational electronics. She also comes with a 200 HP Yamaha engine and a live bait tank. With the safe and steady ride she provides, you'll be on your fishing spot in no time.

There's lots of different species you can catch here, but you're most likely to catch Striped Bass, Bluefish, Blackfish, Porgy, Fluke, Bonito, and False Albacore. Your targets depend on the fishing techniques you use and vice versa, so you can try out trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, and drift fishing.

Captain Mike loves to teach the kids how to fish and he has a special program just for them. Get in touch to discuss the details and let the captain prepare the right equipment.

Rods, reels, terminal tackle, and bait are all included in the price. The captain also covers your fishing license, supplies bottled water, and cleans your catch after the trip. You only need to pack some snacks and snap awesome photos.

Good fishing

the weather initially looked a little rough, so Capt Mike postponed the trip until the PM.  Good decision. The weather cleared and made for comfortable fishing.  Alot of black sea bass below the size limit, but fun to catch and plenty of them.  No boredom here!  Mike made sure that we understood the fishing technique for successful bottom fishing which led to an enjoyable outing.

Super fantastic time!!!!

Captain Mike runs a first class trip. I wanted to give my two grandsons, ages 13 and 18, a really great time with wonderful memories and Captain Mike made it happen. He is great with the kids. He teaches but he doesn't micromanage. He is so positive. He is also extremely knowable about all the necessary pieces to make a fantastic trip. We caught so many fish!  We will do this again!

Capt. Mike took our two family members fishing who were visiting Niantic from St. Louis. The day turned out to be very windy and Capt. Mike tried his best to make the trip fun and enjoyable but the weather didn't cooperate. The guys caught a few fish and had a good time. Next time, hopefully they will have better weather!

Capt Mike is a pleasure to fish with .  His approach is simple and effective.  He has a computer record of all of his tried and true fishing spots.  You barely drop your line and a fish is taking the bait.  Mike is patient and knowledgeable and enjoys his time on the water his as much as his customers.

Great day out on the water!

I booked this trip as a surprise for my husband, his brother and cousin for Father’s Day. It did not disappoint! The guys had a great time and caught some big strippers to take home!! They said Captain Mike was awesome and they will definitely be booking another trip with him! Thanks again Cap’n!
