This was our second trip with Capt Joe and it was just as epic as our 1st trip!! He knows exactly where to be for each type of fish depending on the tide and conditions and boy did we catch a bunch of fish!! We started out catching Black Sea bass and honestly lost count of how many we caught and released. We also caught some porgy and sea robin! Had quite a few keepers. We then moved over to the “Rip” where we used some diamond jigs for Stripers and boy was that fun! Ended up with one keeper but we caught some overs and a few unders. If you want to fish light tackle and have a great time catching fish Capt Joe is your man!!! We’ve already booked our 3rd trip with him for later this year!
Wow!! 🎣😄 Thank you so much for the awesome review and for coming back out with us for trip #2! It's always great to fish with returning customers, and this trip definitely delivered the action. The Black Sea Bass seemed more than willing to cooperate—we may never know the final count! 😆 It was great to put together a mixed-bag day with Sea Bass, porgies, sea robins, and then finish things off at the Rip chasing Stripers on light tackle. There’s nothing quite like feeling a Striper smash a diamond jig and put a bend in the rod! Most importantly, I'm glad everyone had a fun day on the water and went home with plenty of memories (and a few keepers for dinner). Thanks again for trusting me with another trip and for already booking trip #3. First off the communication from the Captain was on point from day one. He was super informative and was great with the kids. He kept us on great bites while Josh worked with boys. The boat was really nice and clean with solid fishing gear. The 5 hour trip flew by and we all will be looking forward to booking with him again. Amazing trip for all and my son caught his first shark which made a memory that will last forever! Highly recommend booking the 3:30-8:30 time slot.
I cant recommend Captain Joe enough. As soon as we booked until we got out on the water the communication was great. He had us on the fish and cracking up all day! Beautiful day on the water and fishing was awesome- a few stripers and tons on Black Sea bass and other fish. We are already talking about when to book another trip! Everything from start to finish was incredible . Planning on doing this again really soon . Captain was amazing and made the eperience worth it . Not only was the experience fun and exciting but we cought plenty of fish to bank in our fun memories . The day was fo perfect for fiahing with weather on our side and a good captain. Boat was super clean and verry accomidating for a party of four .

Captain Joe and his son Josh were the perfect blend of fun, warmth and kindness and so knowledgeable about all things fish. My entire family (my husband and my two 12 year old girls) had an amazing time and cannot wait to go again next year! If you need a fun affordable outing and you live fishing I cannot recommend fishing with Captain Joe enough.
