ROGEZAC II Sportfishing 

I’ve never been out fishing nor have i used any fishing gear prior to my trip and Roger made the entire experience seem like a walk in the park. He was super friendly and informative about everything we had to ask about fishing and got us fishing in minutes as soon as we could. Me and my buddy were on the 2 hour taste of the ocean trip and we most definitely got more than we expected, we were expecting to get a couple bites and take a while to catch anything but to our surprise we caught multiple fish within the first 10 minutes it was an awesome experience and I couldnt stop thanking Roger for being an awesome person and captain he really knows his stuff and is a great guy.

We had an amazing fishing day with ROGER and his son Zac last week on our family vacation to California. We caught so many fish, had such a great time, and Roger and Zach made it all fantastic! They let us beat the hooks, cast, catch, help with the rigging, everything! On the way back in, ROGER filleted all of our fish and bagged them up for us to take back to the hotel. My grown, married kids, had such a wonderful time with them! The boat was so clean, they had all of the gear and rigging, the live bait, everything! I have been on a lot of Fishing chargers in years past, and this one definitely ranks in the top couple! If we ever go back to California in this area, I will definitely be booking another charter with Roger and Zach! Thanks for making this such a wonderful day of fishing and catching for me and my family!

Marina pickup was as painless as can be. It’s really nice to be in the open ocean in under 2 minutes of travel! We spent a little extra time at the bait barge because he didn’t like what he initially saw. I can appreciate that as good bait is everything and it shows he cares! The boat was clean, quick and had everything necessary for a days trip. I had two young kids with me so it’s nice having additional care like baiting hooks, taking care of the fish, rigging, etc.. Captain Roger and his son Zach were great personalities and you could tell they had a passion along with heavy knowledge/experience in fishing the areas we covered. We had a great day fishing and even came away with 30 pound lingcod! This was just a 4 hour trip but I plan on seeing them again soon. Overall a 10 out of 10

We recently went on a fishing trip with Captain Roger and his first mate, Landon, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From start to finish, both Roger and Landon were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome and comfortable the entire time, and their passion for the ocean and fishing was evident. They were so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fantastic time. We caught some amazing fish, and even our kids had a blast and learned so much from them. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip, and we will definitely be booking with them again in the future. My son wanted to go fishing with me as part of his bachelor party and invited his best friend since elementary as well as his father. The three had not spent much time fishing and only really went one time when I took them salmon fishing while on a cruise in Alaska a few years back but only for a couple of hours. I grew up fishing and have had many boats throughout the years but during my boys teen and young adult ages life just got in the way and I was not able to pass on what I had learned from my family and friends who taught me since I was a boy. I looked for a highly rated charter that could assist in teaching them how to hook the bait, cast and the technique to be successful at catching the fish after they ran with the bait. I could not be more pleased with the trip we took with Rogezac Sportfishing and Roger as our Captain, Guide, Teacher and overall, Champion. The day started perfect as the weather was wonderful and the trip to the island was fast and comfortable Roger definitely had the patience, skills and local knowledge to put us on the fish all day long. With his contacts he was able to get us some of the Candy Bait, live squid, from his friends and contacts at the Island and it really made our day even more successful with such premium bait that the bait receivers did not have, again another reason to choose the right charter and Roger and Rogezac Sportfishing made it all happen for us. We caught our limits of huge Calico Bass as well as catching many other species such as huge Blue Perch and some breezing Barracuda including one legal one. Since we were constantly on the Calico bite we were able to be selective on the size we kept and had such a blast catching and releasing so many that the day was completely filled with fantastic new memories as well as giving my son and the others the fishing bug where they have been calling all of their friends as they want to get back out there with Roger to do it all over again and again. Even though I have my own boat, having Roger handle everything for us made it much better than I could ever have done on my own and allowed me to really enjoy the fishing I have missed for so long as well as to be catered on for everything to do with tackle, rigging, bait and advice as well as the decades of local knowledge made this trip one of the best trips ever as I was able to share it with my son and friends and found a new friend in Roger. I would recommend Roger and Rogezac Sportfishing to anyone who is looking for a hassle-free adventure that you will never forget as well as ending looking for your next adventure with them.
