Fishhound Expeditions LLC est une entreprise de guidage détenue et exploitée par des guides, située à Willow, en Alaska. Le capitaine Adam Cuthriell et son équipage vivent en Alaska toute l'année et pêchent constamment ! Cela garantit à leurs clients la meilleure expérience possible. Fishhound Expeditions LLC met des bateaux à disposition de ses clients et propose des sorties pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 30 personnes. Les bateaux à bord desquels vous et votre groupe pêcherez sont des embarcations commerciales de 14 pieds équipées d'électronique GPS pour une navigation efficace et sécurisée.
L'équipage pêche sur de nombreuses rivières à travers l'Alaska ainsi que dans les eaux de l'arrière-pays. Vous vivrez une sortie de pêche à la mouche guidée agréable et divertissante, quel que soit votre niveau d'expérience et votre âge. Parmi les magnifiques espèces que vous et l'équipage pourrez cibler figurent l'omble chevalier, l'ombre, le Dolly Varden, le saumon ainsi que la truite arc-en-ciel. Vous êtes autorisé à conserver certaines des espèces que vous attrapez, tandis que d'autres devront être relâchées. N'hésitez pas à amener vos enfants, l'équipage a l'expérience du guidage d'enfants dès l'âge de 5 ans.
Votre guide vous fournira tout l'équipement de pêche à la mouche, les mouches, les waders et les bottes. De l'eau, des sodas et de la bière vous sont également fournis. Le déjeuner est inclus lors des sorties à la journée complète. Avant de monter à bord, assurez-vous d'avoir vos permis de pêche et de la nourriture.

Wonderful half day on the water with Ryan!
Half Day Trip – Walk and Wade le May 11, 2026 • 1 adulte
Booked a half day wade trip in early/mid May. I knew it was a bit early and didnt end up catching any fish. Didn’t matter. Ryan, my guide, was great and gave me a few casting tips I can take back with me. He knew what he was doing but the water was just a bit too cold. Would book again!

Wonderful Fishing Experience!
Full Day Trip – Float le July 6, 2025 • 1 adulte
I had a great all- day trip on the Little Willow fishing for "Leopard" rainbow trout. I'm a beginner at fly fishing but my guide, Carson, made it easy for me by constantly positioning the raft for easy casts to good spots. We tried several different presentations to see what worked best: dry flies, nymphs with a float, streamers, and streamers with a float. I caught several trout and I hooked but lost several others, including a grayling. Those Leopard rainbows are crazy wild fish - not easy to land! On top of the great fishing, I was treated to caribou sausages for a hot shore lunch! Carson seemed willing to spend as much time on the water as I wanted, so I had a good long, relaxed day of great fishing!

Waiting Willow Creek with Dan
Half Day Trip – Walk and Wade le June 30, 2025 • 1 adulte
I’m a novice fly angler who sought an accessible Alaska fishing experience. The day in late June was cool and the sky was overcast with clouds. I was apprehensive about and unsure that I’d made a good decision. Dan showed up at the appointed time and place and was encouraging and upbeat from the start. He demonstrated respect for his craft, the environment the fish and me with professionalism and unusual warmth. He taught and guided with kindness that free from condescension and a know it all demeanor. I learned to fish successfully in spots that, until today, I would have passed by without a second look.
Dan managed our outing with skill and understanding. He challenged me to try new techniques and to see the habitat through new eyes.
If you’re an older person, like me, and new to the sport of fly flying, you could hardly do better than to spend four hours on Willow Creek with Dan.

Full Day Trip – Walk and Wade le July 2, 2025 • 2 adultes
My fiance and I spent the day with Tyler doing some fishing. We had great luck! Caught some large Greyling as well! The lunch was well prepared and weather was perfect. Tyler was a great teacher and guide. A very visual learner helped me get the moves down right. We had such a great time and would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to do some wading fly fishing in AK.
