Organisant des sorties de pêche au départ d'Honolulu, Jigging Honolulu vous invite à découvrir la pêcherie hawaïenne à son meilleur. Votre guide sera le capitaine Akihiro. Avant de s'installer à O'ahu, il a exercé son métier de pêcheur au Japon, en Alaska, ainsi qu'à Big Island. Il s'assurera que votre sortie soit agréable et aussi productive que possible.

Le capitaine Akihiro se spécialise dans les sorties de pêche à la dandinette. Les eaux hawaïennes abritent de nombreuses espèces de récif. Celles-ci incluent la Sériole, l'Onaga et le Requin citron, pour n'en nommer que quelques-unes. Lors d'une sortie typique, vous passerez jusqu'à 8 heures à cibler ces poissons extraordinaires.

Votre bateau pour la journée sera un True World Marine de 26 pieds pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 4 pêcheurs. Le bateau est équipé de toilettes pour vous assurer le confort nécessaire lors des sorties à la journée complète.

Vous pouvez louer des cannes et moulinets pour 30 $ par personne et des jigs pour 10 $ pièce. En cas de perte, des frais de 30 $ s'appliquent. Avant votre sortie, vous devrez également acheter un permis de pêche hawaïen.

Pour aider à préserver l'océan et le maintenir rempli de poissons pour les générations à venir, le capitaine Akihiro pratique généralement la remise à l'eau. Cependant, vous pouvez lui demander de garder quelques poissons si vous souhaitez les déguster au dîner.

Des boissons gratuites seront disponibles à bord pour votre confort pendant la sortie, mais n'hésitez pas à apporter vos propres boissons ou collations si vous préférez.

best fishing charter on Oahu

I highly recommend Akihiro hands down very precise fisherman and very knowledgeable on gear and the area. very friendly and out going and works hard to get you hooked up. Ive been on multiple charters throughout my years coming to Oahu and he definitely stands out of the bunch. he had everything (gear,bathroom,and water ect) we needed just bring snacks, strength and sun screen. also want to add he is great with kids letting him hang out with him on the captain console an teaching him the techniques. Next year I will be definitely utilizing jigging Honolulu again!

I am an experienced fisherman and have been out on a bunch of deep sea trolling charters. I was looking for something different and more hands on. If you are looking for a jigging charter this is your best option. Went out by myself with the captain. He did a great job explaining how to jig. (completely different than jigging I am used to)  I’ll admit, it was MUCH harder than he makes it look. He did a great job explaining everything. We got 3 good sized amberjack over the rail. All in all, I learned a new technique and had a great day on the water. I would  definitely book again.

Hardcore + Productive + fun

My buddy and I fish all over the US, from Florida keys to California and all the way to Hawaii. I wouldn’t say we are experts, but we have high standards. Captain Akihiro is very hardcore and technical, he would want to teach you and get things done properly like a pro. Trip is 100% jogging oriented, no trolling, or baits, just with metal jigs. 
We caught 4 fish(2x AJ, 1X GT, 1X Ehu) under 6 hours and headed back early as we were super gased. 
Would def come back again, it’s one of a kind. 
One small note it, captain does charge an additional fee for Rod/reel/jig usage, might want to keep that in mind. Might be better to notify fisherman ahead of time as I’m sure some ppl would complain about it.

Awesome First Jigging Experience

I had an amazing experience on this jigging trip. The captain is very experienced and knew exactly where to find the fish. I was really lucky that day - I had a very high hook-up rate. Although I lost two fish due to the hook coming  off and had five break off after hooking. I still ended up landing seven fish. Overall, it was an unforgettable and thrilling fishing trip. Highly recommend it.

Despite the bad luck from the begging, the Captain just kept the good attitude and positive mind, and kept going! We finally get some fish and everyone enjoyed the fight.
