Cabo Sportfishing Crew – Blue Tail II 

This was the best sport fishing Ive ever done. We landed 2 Marlin, 3 mahi mahi and a Wahoo. INCREDIBLE!! Juan and Alex took care of us. these guys are pros. making sure the lines never got tangled, teaching us, laughing and having fun. The boat was comfy and plenty big for is. Juan and Alex were safe and knowledgeable. We saw sharks, stingraws, sealions. Highly recommend this boat and crew. They met us promptly at 6am at the gate to the dock. We were boarded and ready to go shortly. We even stopped at the floating store for coffee and snacks on the way. We had burritos, snacks and drinks on the boat. They took care if iur license and bait and tackle for us. We just had to show up and catch the fish! I hope to come back and fish with them again.

Amazing trip, awesome boat crew. First time deep sea trolling for big game fish. Booked the 8-Hour, all-inclusive for 2 people on the Blue Tail II with Captain Juan and deckhand Rafael. We arrived to Cabo on a cruise ship. Company was great with communicating through email and messages sent out a few days before the trip. Clear instructions on where to go, who to meet up with, and tips to ensure we avoid any scams on the dock. We were also on our cruise ship's time, and the company was more than accommodating with leaving a little later than usual. Older boat, but maintenaned well. All-inclusive was great option! They covered drinks (beers, soda, water), fishing licenses, tackle, live bait, lunch and snacks. We literally showed up with nothing but a jacket. Crew was very attentive, always checking if we needed any drinks or snacks. They were quick to assist and provide guidance when needed, being it was my first time reeling in bigger fish. Never used a fighting chair before, and can say it made it that more comfortable getting the fish to the boat. Especially for how out of shape I am, lol! Deckhand Rafael was fast acting, quick moving, extremely helpful clearing lines out of our way and giving instructions to help us land the fish. Captain Juan did great running through all his hot spots and putting us on the fish. We told him we were specifically looking to hook a marlin and dorado, since we've never caught any before. After about 2-hours of riding then trolling, hooked our first mahi. Hour later, hooked the second, then the third mahi. The Captain adjusted the tackle and let us know we're gonna go find that marlin. About an hour left on the trip, he delivered, and that marlin struck! Overall, despite hearing it was a pretty slow day across the board for other boats, we got lucky (with some Captain skills) and ended the day with some great catches. The Captain even stopped to let us check out a whale that swam right under our boat! Since we were on a cruise ship, we couldn't bring fish back. The crew kept the mahi for themselves, and we released the marlin back into the water until we meet again. They did recommend some places that hook and cook as well as freeze, but we passed. scheduled transportation was on time and very nice with helpful professional driver. Upon arrival at the dock we were met and escorted to the boat. captain and mate were very welcoming. they explained what we were going to do and asked a few questions. We were on our way quickly. during the trip the crew was helpful and very attentive. we did not have great luck in catching alot of fish but it was not for lack of effort by the crew. we went close to shore and caught some fish that was very fun. Lunch and drinks were provided as well as a clean restroom. we were very happy with crew and had a fun afternoon. highly recommend for a fun fishing trip.

booked a half day…. Captain Juan and Mate Alex were eager to please adjusting the times to my Cruise ship schedule & in communication. I caught a 60+ lb mahi-mahi…. What a fight!!!! Exhausting but worth it!!! BEST fishing ever!!! they took care of everything all we had to do was walk on the boat…. Had soda, beer & water for drinks, and a fresh burrito lunch with snacks. Will definitely come back again.

We had an incredible experience with Cabo Sportfishing! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our crew, Juan and Alex, were fantastic — knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. We caught 2 mahi and 1 marlin, which made the trip exciting, but what really made it special was the overall experience. They worked hard to put us on the fish and made sure we were comfortable and having a great time the entire day. To top it off, our trip ended with a sea lion hitching a free ride on the back of the boat — such a fun and unforgettable moment!
