Purple Heron Charters propose des sorties de pêche toute l'année et à temps plein au départ de Key West et vous fait découvrir ce qu'est la pêcherie locale et l'écosystème.
Le capitaine John fera de son mieux pour vous assurer une journée amusante remplie de pêche. Il se spécialise dans la pêche au lancer, la pêche à la mouche et la pêche à vue. Tout cela pour vous mettre sur la touche. Cela comprend des sorties de 4 à 10 heures, principalement pour pêcher la Banane de mer, la Truite de mer tachetée, les Requins, le Pompaneau, le Barracuda, le Tarpon, le Vivaneau, le Pompaneau plume, les Carangues et le Mérou géant du Queensland (Mérou géant), selon la saison et les conditions du jour.
Votre aventure commence à bord d'un skiff Dolphin de 18 pieds propulsé par un Mercury 115 Pro XS pouvant accueillir un maximum de 2 pêcheurs. Le bateau est équipé d'une glacière.
Toutes les cannes, moulinets et accessoires de pêche sont inclus dans le prix afin que vous puissiez vous concentrer sur ce qui compte vraiment, la pêche. Le capitaine fournira tous les permis de pêche nécessaires pour votre sortie. Vous pouvez garder tout ce que vous attrapez, tant que c'est légal de le faire.
Le bateau sera approvisionné en eau potable dans des canettes en aluminium recyclables pour votre plaisir. N'hésitez pas à informer le capitaine si vous avez des questions ou si vous souhaitez apporter la vôtre.

Shark Attack!!
Afternoon Half Day Trip le November 27, 2025 • 2 adultes
Our backcountry fishing trip in Key West was absolutely unforgettable. We were on the fish nonstop—catching them until our arms were genuinely tired. The highlight of the day was watching my daughter battle and land a huge blacktip shark, and the captain was incredibly patient and encouraging the whole time. On top of the great fishing, we also got an awesome history lesson about the area that made the trip even more memorable. Beautiful scenery, nonstop action, and a captain who truly knows his stuff. Highly recommend!

Addicted To Bonefish Now

Went out with John for a 3/4 day trip targeting Tarpon, Permit and Bonefish. Weather was beautiful but not the best conditions for sight-fighting and targeting these species. Regardless of the conditions, John was able to get me on the Tarpon and Bonefish; he has an incredible acumen for reading the tides, and finding the best areas for fishing success. In addition, John was a great instructor as well, constantly giving tips and instruction on when/where to cast to get the best chance at a strike. Even when the fishing slowed down the wildlife was filling in the blanks, saw plenty of sharks, dolphins, rays, and Tarpon spitting hooks back at me.
Highly recommend John, and will seek him out again in the future for fishing in Key West again.

Full Day Marquesas Keys Trip le December 30, 2025 • 1 adulte
Me & my buddy had a real blast getting out with Captain John for a day on the flats. He was super flexible with us, and did a great job showing us all the different types of terrain within this Fishery. We got into some nice fish, and walked away with knowledge and stories to last a lifetime. Great to find a guide who still cares about the right things.

First tarpon and bonefish!

Had a great trip on Sunday, May 18th. My goal was to catch a tarpon and a bonefish, and thanks to John, I accomplished both. Also, I caught the tarpon on a fly! John did a great job of putting me in position for success. He is not only a wealth of flats fishing knowledge, but educated me on the incredible ecosystem of the Keys. John is also very conservation oriented, which I highly respect. I recommend John and will definitely be fishing with him on our next Key West trip!
