Southern Tides Fishing Charters organise des sorties de pêche au départ de Cedar Point et vous propose de découvrir ce que la pêcherie locale a à offrir.

Le capitaine Jacob vise à adapter chaque sortie à vos besoins spécifiques, alors faites-lui savoir ce que vous recherchez ! Lors de vos sorties, vous pêcherez en pêche légère. Vous aurez le choix entre des sorties de 4 à 8 heures, où vous ciblerez généralement le tambour rouge, le flet, le grand tambour, la truite de mer tachetée et le rondeau mouton selon la météo et la période de l'année.

Votre aventure commence à bord d'un bateau Carolina Skiff de 24 pieds pouvant accueillir un maximum de 6 pêcheurs.

Toutes les cannes, moulinets et le matériel terminal sont inclus dans le prix afin que vous puissiez vous concentrer sur ce qui compte vraiment, la pêche. Quant aux permis de pêche, tout sera pris en charge par le capitaine, vous n'avez donc pas à vous en soucier.

Vous pourrez garder toutes les espèces légales capturées pendant la sortie.

Présent pour vous aider avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin, le premier lieutenant sera à vos côtés pendant la sortie. Laisser un pourboire pour un travail bien fait est très apprécié.

Jacob works hard every time

This was our 3rd trip with Captain Jacob as we always make it a priority to fish with him when we’re down in the area. He knows all these waters so incredibly well that even in very windy conditions, he knew places we could hide and hunt for fish. well, the fishing wasn’t as on fire this time as it was every other time, Jacob worked hard to find the fish that were around, using his trademark of live shrimp under corks. Live shrimp make a huge difference, and Jacob always brings enough for a couple days.

This time we brought my wife and my three year-old daughter and Jacob was great with both of them making the trip enjoyable even when it was chilly for the three-year-old.

Best LIVE BAIT inshore fishing!

We’ve had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Jacob multiple times around Swansboro and the White River, and every trip has been exceptional. What truly sets him apart is his mastery of live bait. He showed up with hundreds of LIVE SHRIMP — the best bait in the ocean — and we caught fish when no one else could. That kind of preparation makes all the difference. If you've ever bought live shrimp, you know it would cost more to buy the shrimp than pay for the charter. 

Jacob knows these waters like the back of his hand — from hidden ledges and oyster bars to deep holes that hold the big ones. Whether you're targeting a specific species or navigating regulations, Jacob always has a plan.

Jacob is fantastic with both adults and kids, whether you're a seasoned angler or a total beginner. He teaches, laughs, and celebrates every catch like a true pro. I can’t say enough good things about Jacob! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. He was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also super friendly and made the entire trip enjoyable and relaxed.

The boat was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable — perfect for both seasoned anglers and first-timers. We started out kinda slow but we ended up catching way more than we expected, everyone on the boat caught multiple!

Jacob made sure everyone was involved and having fun, offering help and tips without being overbearing. He clearly knew the best spots and how to read the water. 

If you’re looking for a professional, fun, and rewarding fishing trip, this is the charter to book. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

Terrific day on the water!!

We had an amazing day on the water with Jacob and his friend!  We caught fish, saw bald eagles and enjoyed the breathtaking water view!  The guys were polite, friendly and extremely helpful allowing each person to do as much or as little as we wished for fishing. They took us to different areas in search of a variety of fish.  We highly recommend booking a trip with Jacob if you are in the area!!

Great time on fishing outing with Captain Jacob

3/4 Day Trip le July 22, 2025 • 4 adultes • 2 enfants

Jacob did a great job with us fishing newbies.  He was very patient and he kept our 5 lines baited and was a spot on caster.  In his spare time, he put out his own larger lines in search of shark.  We had the experience of seeing a stingray and black tip shark reeled in.  Captain Jacob was great with our younger 10 & 12 year olds. He knew all the areas around the White Oak River and in the sound to find the fish.  Caught a lot of flounder we had to release, and lost some red drums who outsmarted us newbies. Still ended up with about 5 lbs of fillets that Jacob cut up for us. It was a great family experience — would do it again.
