Captain Joe was easy to communicate with was flexible. Captain Joe arranged a trip for my family and showed us a great time although the fish were not biting a lot. We did catch them my teenage children and my wife all had a great time. It helped that the day was beautiful, but I think that even if it wasn’t, we would’ve had a great time I would recommend barefoot charters and captain Joe to anyone who asked thanks Captain Joe.

Our family of 6 booked a half-day charter with Captain Joe during our week at Sanibel. As soon as we completed the reservation on fishing booker, Captain Joe was calling us on the phone. He was enthusiastic and ready to go! He made it very clear how and where to meet. We arrived a little early but he welcomed us right away. Brimming with personality and authentic Florida vibes. He knew where to take us, what to throw, and how to get the fish in the boat. And get them in we did! We (mostly our kids) brought home plenty of fish for us to all have for dinner that night. Throughout the whole trip, Captain Joe had plenty of jokes and stories to fill up the time. He even sent us home with a recipe and his own special spice blend for cooking the fish that night. And it was DELICIOUS! Everyone was thoroughly entertained and satisfied at the end of our trip. Our 2 boys said it was the highlight of their week. We come to Sanibel every year, and as long as Captain Joe is still taking charters out on his boat, he just might see us again!

Book a 4-Hour trip with Joe on a weekend, brought my elderly father and my seven-year-old daughter and wife, Joe was on time, had everything prepared, and was ready for shove off as soon as we arrived. Joe is a conscientious captain, navigated very well to keep the ride as calm as possible even in busy waters. Joe knew a lot of good spots, we did move three times before we found fish, but Joe found fish when no one else around us did. Joe kept us all entertained, even taught the seven-year-old how to cast, which she ended up pulling in the biggest fish. I recommend Joe and we'll book again.

We have a great time with Captain Joe! He was very helpful, friendly & patient with my 3 year old who just needed to touch everything on the boat and explore. We caught a few fish, saw manatees, turtles, even spotted a dolphin while heading to another spot! My son absolutely loved it and so did we! I will definitely be booking again in the future! We live in Florida, but we were vacationing in Fort. Myers and we wanted to charter a fishing trip. I went through FishingBooker and found Captain Joe of Barefoot Charters . We had a great time, talking and laughing and catching fish! Even though we only caught 4 trout, we loved the boat and being out on the water. Captain Joe was so friendly and made the whole trip fun and lively! I will surely book again when we visit Ft. Myers and I recommend Captain Joe to everyone! Thanks so much!

My trip with Captain Joe was awesome. Super knowledgeable and work to be sure we caught fish. I had my 2 grandsons {11&9) and my cousin. We laughed at the fishing stories as well caught a bunch of fish. Would totally recommend his trip to any interested in a good time and pleasant captain. Thanks captain Joe!

I took my wife, sister, and my 3 kids (ages 9,8, &4). Everyone on the boat had great success fishing, and we saw manatees and dolphins which is what we specifically asked for! Captain Joe was knowledgeable and genuinely enjoyed my kids excitement catching fish. He was professional but it felt like going out with your fun uncle versus a commercial tour. We will be going a full day trip with Barefoot Charters next time we are in Florida!

All in all, My family had a great time and Captain Joe was awesome. Basically asked us what we wanted to catch, and i said frankly I didnt care as long as they weren't the bluegills i was catching in the canals. He definitely delivered. The communication up to the trip was stellar and no confusion as to what we could bring, when to meet, where to meet, and what to expect. We met on time, were out on time and got a little extra time out on the water when they were biting. We caught some trout and ladyfish and had some great conversation, dolphin spottings, and heard some harrowing tales of the recent devastating hurricane. All in all its absolutely worth the price of admission and more. I didn't even have to pay Joe extra to get the fish biting more for me than my father in law. I look forward to bringing my son while he's a little older for his first big catch. 10/10 will be back again. Thanks Joe!

Our captain Joseph was so personal and friendly. Kept us laughing the whole trip. We caught fish and hooked a shark but by the time we got the net, we lost the shark
