Si vous êtes prêt à commencer à pêcher à Buxton, nous avons ce qu'il vous faut avec Offpoint Sportsfishing. Votre guide pour la journée est le capitaine James, ce qui vous permet de bénéficier d'années d'expérience professionnelle.
Il n'y a aucune garantie lorsque vous pêchez, mais certaines espèces que vous pouvez capturer dans les environs incluent le tambour rouge, le tassergal, la truite de mer tachetée, le flet et le sar commun. Lors de ces sorties, vous pouvez vous attendre à pêcher à la dandinette en utilisant du matériel léger. Vous trouverez des cannes, des moulinets et du matériel qui vous attendent, ainsi que des leurres.
Votre bateau pour la journée sera un Carolina Skiff de 21 pieds pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes. N'hésitez pas à ramener chez vous une partie du poisson que vous attrapez, à condition qu'il soit légal de le garder. Le nettoyage des prises est disponible, vous pouvez donc ramener votre poisson à la maison et le mettre directement dans la poêle. Qu'en est-il de ces produits de la mer frais ?
Avant de monter à bord, vous devrez acheter un permis de pêche local pour tous les membres de votre groupe. Ces informations sont généralement disponibles en ligne, ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine. Offpoint Sportsfishing est un service de sortie encadrée adapté aux enfants, alors sortez-les de leurs écrans et emmenez-les sur l'eau ! Vous voudrez apporter de la crème solaire (non en spray), des lunettes de soleil, des collations légères et des boissons.

Great day on the sound!

Prior to the start of the trip, Capt. Jim was in constant communication with us about the meeting point and what we would be going after and gave us crystals clear directions to his dock. Once we were on the boat, we immediately set out on our day. Capt. Jim was extremely knowledgeable about the portion of the sound we’d be fishing on and was very easy to talk to. We got hit with a little rain during the day, but Capt. maneuvered around it as best he could. Once we got to the first point, my boy landed a beautiful speckled trout and we continued to pull in fish the rest of the trip. The four hour trip went extremely fast, but it was well worth it. My boys and I had a great time today!
Thanks Captain Jim and we’ll see you next year!

Don’t think you’ll find a better Captain than Captain Jimmy. I’m a whitewater rafting guide so I understand his job somewhat and he performs it perfectly. Which is expected from a Captain who loves what he does. The conversation never ended and when it was time for our trip to end we didn’t want it to be over! But we know it won’t be the last time we are in a boat with him. The next time we are here we will definitely fish again and hopefully we get to show him and his family around the mountains in our hometown and and get them on some rivers and mountain trout.

Captain Jimmy is very personable and knows the sound inside and out. Even though a heat wave kept the fish from being active, he knew where to take us so we could maximize our chances. It was a very memorable day, and we highly recommend him. We’ll be back the next time we’re in town!

Captain Jimmy was very friendly, helpful, and kind. Most of us in our group had never been fishing before and Captain Jimmy made it so easy. He has very nice equipment and we caught fish on a tough fishing day. We already can’t wait to go back on another trip with him!!
