Si vous êtes prêt à essayer la pêche à Juneau, nous avons ce qu'il vous faut avec Juneau Adventures. Ayant accumulé de nombreuses heures sur ces marées, le capitaine Terry est prêt à vous mettre sur le poisson !

Ces eaux sont réputées pour une variété de saumons, ainsi que pour le flétan, le sébaste, la lingue-morue et bien d'autres espèces. Pour ces espèces, vous pratiquerez probablement la pêche à la traîne et la pêche de fond en utilisant du matériel léger ou lourd. Tout poisson que vous attrapez est à vous, à condition qu'il respecte les limites de taille et de prises autorisées. Le nettoyage des prises est disponible, vous pouvez donc ramener votre poisson à la maison et le mettre directement dans la poêle. Prévoyez une glacière dans la voiture !

Votre sortie commence à bord du 'Petrel', un Duckworth de 30 pieds pouvant accueillir 6 passagers. Il dispose de downriggers et de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une journée productive sur l'eau. Rapide, sûr et confortable, il vous amènera rapidement aux zones de pêche. Toute l'électronique moderne, des downriggers électriques, des cannes et moulinets pour le saumon et le flétan. Chauffages de cabine, toilettes fermées avec chasse d'eau électrique. Ce bateau est une véritable machine à pêcher !

Vous aurez l'aide d'un premier lieutenant pour vous mettre sur le poisson et tirer le meilleur parti de votre sortie. Un pourboire de 10 % à 20 % en fin de journée est d'usage pour montrer votre appréciation de leur travail acharné. Avant de monter à bord, vous devrez acheter un permis de pêche local pour tous les membres de votre groupe âgés de plus de 16 ans. Ces informations sont généralement disponibles en ligne, ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine.

Les familles qui passent la journée seront heureuses de savoir que les enfants sont les bienvenus à bord ! Il y aura des boissons et des collations légères à bord. Le déjeuner est inclus pour les sorties de 6 et 8 heures.

Capt. Terry is awesome!!

3/4 Day Trip – Halibut (PM) le July 27, 2025 • 6 adultes

No one in my family is an angler, but on our Alaska cruise I still wanted to fish. Capt. Terry had a taxi waiting for me right off the boat and at the pier to take us back. I learned that fishing takes some work, and technique that we were trying to figure out. The crew was there helping all 6 of us to figure it out, and letting us learn how to do it instead of just reeling in a fish they caught. It would have been nice to come home with more fish, but it is fishing after all, not catching. I absolutely loved my day on the water, and I would definitely go back and book another trip with Capt. Terry. Next time, I’ll just make sure to spend a few days.

Great trip!

Half Day Trip – Salmon (PM) le July 2, 2025 • 3 adultes • 1 enfant

We had a crew of 4 and were taken out by Captain John and deckhand Dylan for a half day salmon trip.
Captain John was there to greet us at the dock and was very friendly and welcoming. We went out on the 50/50 boat a 30’ which had plenty of room for fishing and warmth inside. We made it out to the fishing area within 15 minutes and had 4 rods in the water right away. 
The fishing was a little slow as we saw other boats not bringing in fish either and whales had entered the fishing area. While it was amazing to see whales, they do not help fishing.
About halfway through the day my son hooked into a nice fish that was a great fight! He ended up landing a 30” King salmon, the biggest fish of his life! I caught a smaller chum salmon but was still fun to catch! My mother and father in law didn’t get a chance to fish as we had no other bites.
Dylan was working hard and being helpful to make the trip enjoyable and fun for everyone. He’s a good kid and his family should be proud. He even let my son try fresh salmon eggs and salmon heart which he loved!
Overall it was a great fishing trip and an experience that my son will never forget!
If we’re ever back in the area, I’ll definitely book another trip!

First fishing trip in Alaska

This was our first fishing trip in Alaska. We are novices and appreciated Terry accommodating our change in schedule. Terry was not able to take us that day so we had a different crew which was friendly. They were great with our 4 kids. We were able to see orcas which was a treat.

Unfortunately, we did not catch any fish. We set out to catch salmon but it was too early in the season. As novices, we would have appreciated a discussion about our goals and priorities. What we caught was less important than the experience of catching something. We would have gladly started or switched to something else like halibut and rockfish. We asked about that halfway through our 4 hour fishing trip but it was too late. It was a beautiful day. We definitely appreciated the beauty of the area.

Absolutely the Highlight of Our Trip!

Half Day Trip – Salmon (PM) le May 25, 2024 • 6 adultes

We booked a 4-hour salmon charter at the end of May, and although the salmon hadn't migrated to the Juneau area yet, Captain Terry was incredibly flexible, ensuring we still had a fantastic fishing experience. Sneak peek: we caught 15 fish, including Rockfish and a Halibut! Our trip with Captain Terry and his deckhand was not just about fishing; it was a four-in-one adventure. We went whale watching, saw hundreds of seals and sea lions, and ended with sightings of dozens of bald eagles. Despite having only one experienced fisher in our group, everyone caught fish and had a great time. If you're visiting Juneau, whether on a cruise or a trip, this is an experience you can't miss. You'll have an incredible time with knowledgeable and friendly guides who know the area and its wildlife well. Thanks Captain Terry!
