Ces eaux sont réputées pour la Sériole couronnée, le Grand Barracuda, le Mérou, la Coryphène, le Thazard-bâtard, le Vivaneau rouge, le Maquereau espagnol, le Kingfish, le Makaire blanc, les Balistes, et bien plus encore. Pour ces espèces, vous pratiquerez probablement la traîne et la pêche au fond en utilisant du matériel léger ou lourd. Tout poisson conforme à la taille légale vous revient. De plus, vous pouvez faire nettoyer vos prises. Voilà le dîner !
Finatical Charters accueille les enfants à bord, toute la famille peut donc venir et se déconnecter pour la journée ! Les enfants doivent porter des gilets de sauvetage, alors renseignez-vous pour savoir si la taille appropriée est disponible à bord. Le bateau de charter couvre votre permis de pêche, présentez-vous simplement prêt à pêcher !
Le Capitaine Blake vous accueille à bord d'un bateau à console centrale de 34' pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 passagers. Il est équipé de tangons et de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une journée productive sur l'eau. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre confort. Votre capitaine fournira les cannes et moulinets, ainsi que les leurres. Les appâts vivants sont disponibles, mais vous devriez demander au capitaine si vous devrez les capturer vous-même.
Ne partez pas de chez vous sans collations, chapeau, lunettes de soleil et crème solaire (non vaporisable). Il y aura quelques boissons disponibles, mais faites savoir au capitaine si vous souhaitez apporter les vôtres. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, mais évitez les spiritueux et les bouteilles en verre. Gardez à l'esprit que certaines espèces peuvent avoir des règles spéciales ou des saisons limitées. Si vous ne savez pas à quoi vous attendre, demandez au capitaine.

8 Hour Trip le June 17, 2025 • 6 adultes
Captain Blake and his First Mate, Jake definitely checked all the boxes for an exciting and fun filled day out on the water! Blake ensured we had the best time and worked hard to keep us on the fish despite choppy seas. We started on time, Blake and Jake were very helpful and patient with my guests who most of which have never been off-shore fishing before, and there was excellent communication the entire day. We booked an 8 hour trip and after we spent some time caching live bait, we started trolling for wahoo and Mahi. After awhile when we weren't seeing any success trolling, we switched to bottom fishing and ended with a respectable haul. We caught a wide variety of fish, including red and vermillion snapper, red grouper, almaco jack, and porgy. I even was able to catch my personal best fish, a nice gag grouper. As our trip neared the end, we trolled most of the way back in.
This was a very fun and memorable experience despite the thunderstorms and the rough water . It was definitely worth the money and I would put Finatical Charters at the top of my list of things to do on my next trip to the Destin area.

Wind and Current!

The Destin area is a great place to fish. We picked one of the worst possible days to go out. (This is not normal for the time of year) Current one direction and wind from the other. Captain Blake fought it with the boat all day. He did a remarkable job keeping us in the right position all day in these conditions.
We caught fish all day! Small fish, medium fish, and some really nice sized fish.
It was not an easy day for the captain or crew, but I cannot give them enough praise for the work they put in. This work brought in a bunch of fish, one proud dad, and one over the moon son.
Fellas, a sincere thank you for the work you put in! Hope to be back soon.

Thousands of charters but you only get to take home one memory!!

Booked a 6 hour PM charter and because of the weather had to move it up to 6 AM. Captain Blake kept in contact with us all week to monitor the weather situation. We decided to move it up and we are so glade we did. At the first stop we filled up 1/3 of the ice chest! Captain Blake put us on fish at every stop we literally caught everything at least once! We had fish on our lines the whole time. One of the best parts of the trip was everytime I had a fish on my line and I would look over, my kid would have one on his. Q was right there with him making sure he was good and his fish made it in the boat. Every fish over 20” that hit our lines made it in the boat because of the awesome crew we had. My son was scared and worried because it was his first fishing trip. Captain Blake and Q helped break him out his shell and made sure he had the time of his life! Before the trip was over he asked when are we coming back! If you are looking for a fishing charter there are thousands out there, but if you are looking for an opportunity to make one of the greatest memories to hold in the bank. Well you have come to the right spot! Thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart for helping me maintain the #1 DAD spot! I also can’t wait to make more memories with you guys every year! Y’all are the best and thanks for making my kids dream fishing trip come true and successful!!! Thank you!!!

Got out in the water earlier than expected, stayed a little later attempting to find a specific species of fish. Capt had a solid plan based on what we were looking to catch and overall nailed it. With 6 people on board, 5 with little to no experience, the deckhand was on point lending assistance where needed and providing tips. The water current was absolutely ripping, which made the trolling motor ineffective but the Capt kept us on target with motor control. Overall, I'd recommend Finatical for a trip anytime and will likely use them again in the future myself.

Great Trip & Great Crew

Communication was great. We booked a 6hr morning trip. My son wasn’t wanting to fish just for meat, he wanted to go a bit deeper and catch something bigger. We talked to the crew and they worked hard to make sure my teen and family got to do just that. Boat was in great shape, felt comfortable with them and boat from beginning. It was just a short drive from Destin and much quicker and easier to get to then many of them in that area I’m glad we chose it. We will definitely book again and looking at a longer trip!
