Les capitaines Wayne et Chris sont prêts à vous faire découvrir la beauté de l'île de Vancouver et ses pêcheries de renommée mondiale avec Full Melt Charters. Nos priorités sont le service client et la pêche au poisson, comme en témoignent nos avis constamment positifs et notre réputation.

Basés à Sooke, en Colombie-Britannique, vous serez positionnés à quelques minutes de saumons et de flétans massifs, prêts à être capturés.
Vous pouvez vous attendre à un environnement accueillant, plein de positivité et d'encouragement. Les capitaines Wayne et Chris sont très sympathiques, et vous adorerez certainement pêcher avec eux !

Lors de ces sorties, il est courant de pêcher à la traîne pour le saumon, ou de pêcher à la dandinette pour les poissons de fond tels que le flétan. Les poissons capturés pendant la sortie sont à vous pour les ramener à la maison, tant qu'ils respectent la limite légale. Wayne et Chris vous proposeront de nettoyer vos prises pour vous, ou de les faire envoyer à un transformateur pour expédition au Canada. Voilà le dîner !

Les sorties avec Full Melt Charters sont ouvertes à toute la famille et aux enfants de tous âges, alors sortez-les de leurs écrans et emmenez-les sur l'eau ! Les capitaines Wayne et Chris ont une longue expérience de l'encadrement d'enfants en plein air, et auront toujours une attitude encourageante, enthousiaste et bienveillante avec vos enfants.

Vous lancerez vos lignes depuis un bateau de pêche Grady-White de 23 pieds pouvant accueillir 5 passagers. Moteurs flambant neufs ! Il dispose de downriggers électriques et de tout l'essentiel. Vous pouvez toujours vous attendre à un bateau propre, équipé de matériel de pêche et d'équipement de navigation haut de gamme. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre confort. Votre capitaine vous fournira toute l'aide et l'équipement dont vous aurez besoin pour attraper du poisson, et vous remarquerez son désir et sa volonté de partager ses connaissances.

Les capitaines vous donneront des instructions et des conseils sur la façon de ramener le poisson, mais la canne sera entre vos mains !

Vous devrez acheter un permis de pêche local avant la sortie. Cette information est disponible en ligne, ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine.

Full day halibut trip with Wayne

Full Day Trip – Halibut Jigging le May 17, 2026

We dropped a couple crab traps, then spent most of the day jigging for halibut and finished off the day trolling for salmon. We caught two monster halibut, and even though it was a bit early in the season we landed a good size salmon too. Wayne was a great captain, obviously very experienced and knowledgeable and answered all of our many questions. An all around chill dude 🤙 We had a blast. I cannot recommend Full Melt Charters enough. The only downside was now my girlfriend keeps asking why we don’t have a boat. Lol thanks a lot Wayne we’ll see you next time!

Best charter fishing trip of my life!

Afternoon Half Day- Halibut Jigging le May 22, 2026 • 2 adultes

Took my daughter halibut fishing with Captain Wayne. We caught 2 halibut as well as a number of other fish. He also trapped a number of crabs which he allowed us to take home. To top off the trip he cleaned our halibut as five harbor seals begged for scraps at the dock. From reservation to communication to success on the water this was a first rate experience.

Best Day Out - Planning Next Year Already

Afternoon Half Day- Halibut Jigging le September 13, 2025 • 2 adultes

While we fish at home often we were looking to fish for halibut for the first time. From the first booking and communication right to the end of the trip we had no issues and felt very prepared. We et at the Crab Shack and met captain Wayne and Chris. We were heading out with Chris who prepared us, got a feel for our comfort level and answered all of our questions as we traveled out for the day. We started off hitting Dogfish (which was still a bit fun) and quickly got to Sable-fish, Cod and then the mighty Halibut. We had so much fun and enjoyed the day so much. We can't wait to go again. Thank you Wayne and Chris for a GREAT experience!

From start to finish, our trip with Captain Wayne at Full Melt Charters was excellent. He knew exactly how to get us on fish, and it wasn’t long before we were hooked up and hauling in salmon. His knowledge of the water, tides, and gear gave us confidence and made the day both productive and fun.

The boat was well set up, clean, and clearly designed for serious fishing. We appreciated the extra touches—help with technique, stories from the water, and a relaxed atmosphere that made us feel at home right away.

Christi and I had a fantastic time. We caught beautiful fish, enjoyed stunning views, and came away with memories that will last. If you’re looking for a charter in Sooke that delivers both results and a great experience, I highly recommend Full Melt Charters.

We would book again without hesitation.

Spectacular fishing experience

Evening Trip - Salmon Trolling le August 14, 2025 • 3 adultes

Captain Wayne was fantastic!! He was communicative beforehand, punctual, and very knowledgeable! He really worked hard, monitoring the lines & making sure there wasn’t any seaweed or shakers occupying the hooks. We had a LOT of action. We hooked Chinook, Coho & pink salmon.  We got our max catch for Chinook, a lot of pinks too. There were a lot of fish released . . . We took the sunset charter. The weather was gross, so we didn’t catch the sunset, but we caught lots of fish, and had a great time!! 
We HIGHLY recommend Full Melt!!
Thank you for the exceptional experience Captain Wayne!!
