Si vous comptez lancer une ligne dans les Keys de Floride, ne cherchez pas plus loin que Type 1 Sportfishing. Ayant accumulé de nombreuses heures sur ces marées, le capitaine Pete est prêt à vous mettre sur le poisson.
Ces eaux sont réputées pour le thon, la coryphène, le mérou noir, le vivaneau sorbe, la sériole à queue jaune, l'espadon et bien plus encore – avec un peu de chance, il ne faudra pas longtemps avant de crier 'Poisson ferré !' Lors de ces sorties, il est courant de pêcher à la traîne et de pêcher au fond en utilisant du matériel léger ou lourd.
Vous monterez à bord d'un Contender de 35 pieds à console centrale pouvant accueillir 6 passagers. Il est équipé de tangons et de tous les équipements essentiels dont une machine de pêche ne peut se passer. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre confort.
Le capitaine Pete dispose de cannes et de moulinets pour vous. Des appâts vivants sont proposés, mais il est bon de vous renseigner à ce sujet pour savoir si vous devrez les pêcher vous-même.
Un premier lieutenant sera à bord pour vous aider à ce que votre sortie se déroule sans accroc. Les lieutenants travaillent dur pour que votre sortie soit réussie, donc un pourboire de 15 à 20 % est d'usage.
Pas besoin d'acheter un permis de pêche, vous pouvez donc venir directement à bord sans tracas ! Certains poissons sont soumis à des réglementations spéciales, notamment concernant les périodes où vous pouvez les garder. Si vous ne savez pas à quoi vous attendre, demandez au capitaine.
N'oubliez pas d'apporter de l'eau en bouteille, de la crème solaire (non en spray) et des lunettes de soleil. Des boissons seront disponibles pour vous. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, évitez simplement les alcools forts ainsi que les bouteilles en verre.
De temps en temps, le poisson peut s'échapper, mais une journée sur l'eau ne devrait jamais l'être. Alors, faites-le avec Type 1 Sportfishing !

Day Time Trip - Swordfish le November 25, 2025 • 5 adultes
Captain Pete and first mate Syl did an amazing job putting us on fish all day long. When booking the reservation capitain Pete marked off 3 days during thanksgiving break mind you for us to go and fish in the case of bad weather. Then because of wind conditions moved our time in the day earlier. So booking is not a problem and they will make sure you have an amazing time out on the water no matter the conditions. When we got out onto the water our group asked a lot of questions which were always met with genuine passion and interest. I have done many characters in the past and when you have a crew with the passion that ours did it makes the experience 10x better. After 15 minutes of getting to the spot we hooked and landed a swordfish. Unfortunately Capitan Pete hurt himself but instead of ending the trip pushed through and continued to provide an amazing experience. We went on to catch a handful of mahi mahi and overall had an amazing time on the water. If you want not only to catch fish but also to really learn and have a great time on the water, this charter is for you. Thank you so much Capitan Pete and mate syl y'all were amazing company and amazing guides and I'm already thinking about my next fishing trip with this amazing crew!!

Great Fishing - Even in a windy day

Captain Pete was great and his boat was imaculate. The day was windy, but we found some smooth water on the golf side. We caught more fish than we expected during our four hour excursion. Not all of them were keepers, but we were able to catch and keep plenty to feed our family for a couple meals. We’d recommend castaways if you want to eat what you catch on marathon.
