Ces eaux sont réputées pour le Tambour rouge, la Truite de mer tachetée, le Rondeau mouton, le Tarpon, le Croupia roche et bien plus encore. Durant la sortie, vous pourriez pratiquer la pêche légère ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette zone. Le Capt. Benjamin propose également la pêche à la mouche, mais vous devrez peut-être apporter votre propre équipement de pêche à la mouche. Tout poisson respectant les limites légales est à vous.

Votre bateau pour la journée est un Skiff de 17' pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 2 passagers. Il est équipé de tous les éléments essentiels dont une machine de pêche ne peut se passer. Les cannes, moulinets et matériel sont fournis, ainsi que les leurres. Des appâts vivants sont disponibles, mais assurez-vous de vous renseigner à ce sujet pour savoir si vous devrez les attraper vous-même.

Le bateau de pêche encadrée couvre votre permis de pêche, présentez-vous simplement prêt à passer un bon moment ! Certains poissons ont des réglementations spéciales, notamment concernant les périodes où vous pouvez les garder. Il suffit de demander et votre capitaine pourra vous en dire plus. Il est toujours sage d'apporter des collations, des boissons, des lunettes de soleil et de la crème solaire (non en spray). L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, mais évitez les alcools forts et les bouteilles en verre.

Sight fishing for Reds !!!

If you enjoy the hunt for tailing Reds, then Captain Ben is the guy.  He put us on redfish constantly in waters less than a foot or so deep.  He has the ideal boat (skiff) for this type of fishing up in the rivers and channels off of Charleston Harbor.  With a 60 HP motor, a lot of water can be covered.  And then using a 20 ft pole, he maneuvers around the shallow grass flats with ease.  There is nothing like spotting the fins and tails of these redfish and then casting right to them in the shallow waters.  Captain Ben can spot them with ease from on top of his poling stand and put you right on them.  If you like this type of fishing, you can definitely learn a lot from him.  I wouldn't hesitate to book him again.

My husband LOVES fishing...pretty much will fish anywhere, anytime for all types of fish. He does his research and we have gone on some amazing guided fishing trips in various waters. We were going to Charleston, SC for a work conference and planned to go a day early so we could incorporate a little fishing. Trent found RedTail Charters of Mount Pleasant with Captain Ben and booked the trip. We had it scheduled for a morning trip but Ben said it looked like the afternoon was going to be perfect weather. And he was right! It was a beautiful fall day with minimal winds (for the most of it). We caught some red fish, blue fish, trout, and I caught my first lizard fish! I have never seen one of those. But that wasn't what we were fishing for...Trent wanted to catch some good reds and do some site-fishing -- and Ben didn't disappoint! Too bad we didn't get to enjoy them for dinner but it was so fun to catch! This was one of my favorite guided fishing trips and Ben was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and had a clean boat! HIGHLY recommend you book your fishing trip with Ben at RedTail Charters. We will definitely be returning and booking him again!

I have been on fishing charters in the past and took my 13 year old son for the first time. Ben was above and beyond my expectations. My son loved him and by the end of the charter we all felt like we had been friends for years. He not only made sure we caught fish but also made sure the experience was memorable for everyone. Great trip!

My daughter and I did a 6hr. trip and it was absolutely terrific. I was very impressed with Bens knowledge of the area and gishing holes. Also he made sure my daughter caught fish and even prioritized her when it was needed to make sure she had a good time. So fun. we caught Redfish and trout both with spinning rods and fly rods.

All Around Fun

Captain Ben gave us a great experience and we can't wait to get back on the water with him.  He was very knowledgeable about fishing and a lot of fun to talk to.  Captain Ben seemed to know every bend in the river and took us to where the fish were biting.  Nice clean boat and overall great time. Thank you Captain Ben!
