Passez la journée avec le capitaine Tayo et lancez vos lignes pour réaliser vos rêves sur les flats de San Pedro ! Avec de nombreuses années d'expérience des cycles lunaires et des marées, le capitaine Tayo connaît ces eaux comme sa poche.
Ces eaux sont réputées pour la Banane de mer, le Pompaneau plume, le Tarpon, le Brochet de mer, la Carangue crevalle, le Grand barracuda, la Carangue crevalle, les Maquereaux, le Cobia, la Gorette, la Guinée-machète, le Vivaneau des mangroves, le Poisson-chat, et bien plus encore – avec un peu de chance, vous le découvrirez par vous-même !
Pour ces sorties, la pêche à la mouche est la meilleure option. Peu importe que vous soyez novice ou professionnel. Le capitaine Tayo propose également la pêche à la traîne et la pêche de fond en utilisant du matériel léger ou des cannes à lancer, mais vous devrez peut-être apporter votre propre équipement. Si vous ne possédez pas de canne à mouche ou de canne à lancer, le capitaine vous assistera.
Vous serez les bienvenus à bord d'un bateau de flats de 23 pieds pouvant accueillir 2 passagers. Il dispose de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une journée productive sur l'eau. Les cannes et moulinets ne sont pas inclus, mais si vous n'en possédez pas, le capitaine Tayo vous en fournira. N'oubliez pas de vous renseigner sur les leurres et appâts, les appâts vivants sont inclus mais assurez-vous de poser la question pour savoir si vous devrez les attraper vous-même.
Un premier lieutenant sera présent pour s'assurer que tout se déroule sans accroc. Les lieutenants travaillent dur pour que votre sortie soit réussie, donc un pourboire de 10 à 20 % est d'usage.
Vous devrez acheter un permis de pêche local avant la sortie. Cette information est généralement disponible en ligne, Source : (Coastal Zone Management Authority & Institute | CZMAI) ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine. Certaines espèces peuvent être protégées ou nécessiter une étiquette pour les garder, alors assurez-vous de savoir à quoi vous attendre.
Quelques articles à apporter : lunettes de soleil, crème solaire et vêtements anti-UV. Des boissons seront disponibles pour vous : eau, sodas et glace. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, mais n'est pas fourni dans le forfait. Un déjeuner et quelques collations légères seront disponibles à bord.

great trip even though no tarpon!

The captian gave me a good deal, pricewise! my main goal was to catch a tarpon, but unfortunately, we were not successful. We ended up finding a rolling group of them, but couldn’t successfully hook on. The captain searched really hard to find more, but we were not successful. We stayed an hour past the allotted time and I had to call it quits. You could tell he really wanted me to get that tarpon.
Besides that I did catch three barracuda, two bonefish and a Jack.
I appreciated the captains passion for fishing and commitment to getting me the catch. I never really saw him on his phone. It seemed like he was always looking at the water trying to find signs of fish. I appreciate that because you don’t see that a lot nowadays.

Our experience fishing in Belize with Captain Tayo and his crew was absolutely outstanding. During our visit, we spent three full days on the water with them, and every day was memorable. From the moment we started, the service was seamless—Captain Tayo conveniently picked us up directly from our hotel dock, which made everything incredibly easy and stress-free.
Throughout our trip, we had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities. We went offshore fishing and caught snapper, targeted tarpon, and even spent time conch diving and lobster diving. Captain Tayo and his crew are incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters and made sure we were always in the best spots to catch fish and enjoy the experience.
One of the highlights of the trip was feeding the tarpon—something we had mentioned wanting to do. Captain Tayo made it happen and ensured we got to experience it up close. It was an unforgettable moment for our whole group.
What made the trip even more special was how accommodating the crew was with our family. We had two kids with us, and they had an absolute blast. The crew was patient, friendly, and made sure the kids felt involved and safe while still keeping the adventure exciting.
If you’re visiting Belize and looking for a fishing charter that goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Captain Tayo and his team. Their professionalism, local expertise, and genuine hospitality made our trip one we’ll never forget. We truly got to experience the best of Belize’s fishing, diving, and marine life all in one adventure.

His expertise is undeniable; not only did he help me land my first barracuda and bonefish, but he also put me on the ultimate prize—a permit. Beyond the catches, I walked away with a wealth of knowledge about flats fishing and a newfound respect for the skill required to complete a Belizean trifecta. It was a truly humbling and rewarding day.

The six pack flats fishing! le April 8, 2026 • 2 adultes
Tayo, and his deckhand who's name alludes me, were AMAZING!! Got us on bonefish minutes from the dock......worked schools all morning. So hard to leave fish to find fish, but we wanted a species day and they provided.....got on a school of Permit and landed a beauty!!! Just the right amount of chatter, instruction and playful banter! Great guys......be ready for a workout and practice your long casts, you'll need it!!!
