Ces eaux sont réputées pour le saumon chinook, le saumon coho, la morue-lingue, le flétan, la plie, le sébaste, le sébaste noir, et bien plus encore – avec un peu de chance, vos lignes seront bien tendues en un rien de temps. Lors de ces sorties, vous pourrez pratiquer la traîne pour le saumon et pêcher au mouillage pour le flétan. Le capitaine David peut également vous emmener pêcher à la turlutte pour le sébaste et la morue-lingue. Tout poisson respectant la limite légale est à vous. De plus, vous pouvez faire nettoyer vos prises. Voilà le dîner assuré! Renseignez-vous sur le crabe et les crevettes!
Vous souhaitez emmener toute la famille en plein air? Les enfants sont les bienvenus! Des gilets de sauvetage pour enfants sont disponibles, ou vous pouvez apporter les vôtres si vous préférez. Et n'oubliez pas les collations pour que personne ne soit de mauvaise humeur le ventre vide! Apportez des rafraîchissements, pour les adultes aussi, clin d'œil!!
Le capitaine David pilote un bateau de croisière de 28 pieds pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 passagers. Il est équipé de downriggers et de tout l'équipement essentiel sans lequel aucune machine de pêche ne peut fonctionner. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre confort. Votre capitaine fournira les cannes et moulinets, ainsi que les leurres et une excellente sortie!
Vous devrez obtenir un permis de pêche local avant la sortie. Un permis de pêche en eaux à marée est requis. Ces informations sont disponibles en ligne et le capitaine vous recommandera comment l'obtenir. Le saumon nécessite une étiquette/vignette pour être conservé, alors assurez-vous d'en acheter une avec votre permis. Quelques articles à apporter incluent des lunettes de soleil, de la crème solaire (non en vaporisateur) et de l'eau en bouteille. L'alcool est autorisé à bord.

Fantastic Trip would 100% do this again!

Just got back from an absolutely incredible fishing trip with David - one for the books. The action was nonstop, and the variety made it even better. Landed some beautiful salmon, pulled up hard-fighting rockfish, and even hooked into a few lingcod that really put up a battle.
The conditions were perfect, the scenery was unreal, and every cast felt like it had potential. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of reeling in a big catch with the open water all around you. David had great humour with me when I caught the ocean bottom and was so helpful!
Already counting down the days until the next trip. 🎣

We couldn’t have asked for a better day and a better Captain. Dave was extremely thoughtful and worked with us to create the family fishing experience we were looking for. It’s called fishing, not catching as I had to remind the kids, but Dave did his best to find us fish and get the those hook ups!! 4 hours goes fast, so would recommend the full day trip in the future- but wow- Dave made sure we filled every minute with good vibes and thoughts of big fish. We feasted like kings on Coho, and Rockfish Tacos.
Highly recommend a trip with Dave for serious fisherman, families and anyone in between.

Highly recommend Bonzai and Dave! It was our first time out fishing in the ocean and despite my dad getting sea sick at first & my mom's limited mobility, Dave went out of his way to make sure we all had a great experience! He helped us reel in fish and gave us really good tips. He worked really hard & you can tell he really wanted us to get our catch on the boat.
The boat itself was comfortable with lots of room for 4 of us plus Dave.
Dave you were awesome! Thank you again for a great experience!

Our family of five enjoyed a morning charter with captain Dave. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and professional. We caught our limit of chinook salmon. Dave also offered us guidance as to where to get the fish processed for our travel home to another province. We appreciate how Dave shared some information throughout the charter about the island and aquatic wildlife. We highly recommend Bonzai charters and captain Dave.
