Flet, Bar commun, Tassergal, Acoupa royal, Thazard atlantique, Requin citron et bien d'autres pourraient mordre, selon la saison. Vous pouvez vous attendre à pratiquer la pêche au lancer, le popping, la pêche à la traîne, la pêche à la dandinette, la pêche de fond, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région. Le capitaine John propose également la pêche à la dandinette pour le flet.
Vous monterez à bord d'un Grady White Cuddy cabin de 26 pieds pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 5 passagers. Il est équipé de tangons et de tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une journée productive sur l'eau. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre confort. Les cannes, moulinets et matériel de pêche sont inclus, ainsi que les leurres. Les appâts vivants sont inclus, mais n'hésitez pas à vous renseigner pour savoir si vous devrez les attraper vous-même.
Le bateau de pêche encadrée couvre votre permis de pêche, vous n'avez donc qu'à vous réjouir de votre sortie ! Gardez à l'esprit que certaines espèces peuvent avoir des règles spéciales ou des saisons limitées. Si vous ne savez pas à quoi vous attendre, demandez au capitaine.
Ce n'est jamais une mauvaise idée d'apporter des collations, de la crème solaire (non en spray) et des lunettes de soleil. Des boissons seront disponibles pour vous. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, assurez-vous simplement d'éviter les alcools forts ainsi que les bouteilles en verre.

Five of us went out with Captain John, including one six-year-old. We all had very little or no knowledge or experience. John carefully explained the timetable and his plan to get us to the best spots. He got us set up with our rods, baited them, and gave us beginners tips on how to use them. He took us to about ten different spots because the fish were uncooperative, and he wanted everyone to catch something. He was always polite and engaging, taking at length to my sons about cars and answering the dozens of questions from my grandson. We were booked for three hours, but he allowed us to stay out for four. It was a wonderful morning of family fun.
Well thanks for coming out, it was a pleasure spending time on the water and really enjoyed showing and talking with you all ,hope you continue salt water fishing.
Great communication throughout. Captain John paid close attention to the weather, tides and previous days results. He guided us to the reef where we had several catches. His first mate was great, ensured we had bait and excellent “presentation” for the fish. Captain John is simply awesome to talk with and always had a back up plan. Changed up our bait a few times and within minutes we had bites. I’m looking forward to our next trip in 2026.

We had a great time doing a 4 hour nearshore trip with Captain John. He was very welcoming and knowledgable, and explained all parts of the process throughout the entire trip. I learned more than I had on previous fishing experiences. We ended up catching four Bonito and a Spanish Mackerel, and he took the time to filet the fish for us at the end. Definitely would recommend and would book a trip with again.
