Ayant passé toute sa vie à pêcher sur le lac Michigan (Traverse City, Frankfort, Leland) et les lacs intérieurs environnants, le capitaine Jordan peut vous indiquer où et quand est le meilleur moment pour tout type et toute espèce. Le capitaine Jordan est un capitaine USCG Master 100 tonnes.
À bord de son magnifique Key West, attendez-vous à vous rendre sur les meilleurs spots de pêche de la région. La flexibilité du site de mise à l'eau est essentielle au succès et sera discutée avant votre date. Le bateau à console centrale Key West est extrêmement agréable, mobile et confortable.
Selon l'espèce que vous recherchez, vous pourrez pêcher à la traîne ou à la dandinette. Le saumon, la truite de lac et la truite arc-en-ciel (Steelhead) sont les espèces les plus pêchées. Jordan propose également la pêche au lancer/à la traîne pour le grand brochet, l'achigan, le doré jaune, le poisson-soleil et de nombreuses autres espèces de lacs intérieurs selon la saison. Il fournit des cannes et des moulinets haut de gamme spécialement configurés pour chaque espèce. Le capitaine Jordan possède une grande expérience dans de nombreux types de pêche en eau douce et dispose du bon bateau pour s'adapter à tout plan d'eau et à tous les besoins de pêche.
Les familles seront ravies de savoir que les enfants sont les bienvenus à bord ! Le capitaine Jordan préfère que vous apportiez vos propres gilets de sauvetage de taille adaptée aux enfants, mais peut en fournir sur demande.
Votre bateau pour la journée est un Key West à console centrale pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 5 passagers. Il est équipé de cannes/moulinets/downriggers et de tous les leurres/appâts essentiels. Il y a un espace console privé à bord pour votre intimité aux toilettes. Votre capitaine fournira tout l'équipement de pêche nécessaire. Vous devrez acheter un permis de pêche local avant la sortie.
Quelques articles à apporter incluent des vêtements appropriés, des lunettes de soleil et de la crème solaire. Des boissons seront offertes, mais apportez vos propres favoris. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération. Veuillez apporter votre propre nourriture pour la journée selon vos besoins. Il y a une grande glacière à bord pour toutes vos boissons et votre nourriture.

Unforgettable Charter with Captain Jordan Young

As a hospitality professional, I’ve always believed the fundamentals of hospitality come down to how you make people feel. Captain Jordan Young embodied that principle from start to finish. My brother and I instantly felt welcome — not just as customers, but as guests and fellow fishermen sharing a passion for the water.
Captain Young took the time to truly listen and tailor the trip around the kind of experience we were hoping for. He worked tirelessly the entire charter to put us in the best position to catch fish, adjusting with skill and precision throughout the afternoon. His knowledge of the local species, their habits, and the surrounding ecosystem made the trip exceptionally educational — and just plain fun to “talk shop” with him.
Beyond fishing, Captain Young’s local recommendations for food and drink were spot on, going far beyond the usual Google list. It’s rare to find someone who blends professionalism, passion, and genuine hospitality so seamlessly. We started the day with a captain and ended it with a comrade.
I highly recommend booking with Captain Jordan Young — and we’re already planning our next adventure: river fly fishing for salmon and steelhead. Can’t wait!

Captain will put you on fish!
Big Water Salmon and Trout - 5:00 PM le August 5, 2025 • 3 adultes
Showed up to the docks 10 mins early with my son and daughter and the captain was ready to head out. Caught a few lake trout in the first couple of hours. We told him we would like to catch salmon. He explained the bite for salmon was on around 9:30 to 10:30. Our booking was suppose to be over at 10:30. We steamed to where he new salmon were. My daughter hooked up around 9:45 just like the captain said. It was a 23 pound monster. Then 15 mins later my son hooked up to a 22 pounder. It was close to 10:30 and we were the only boat out there. Our captain wanted us to catch and I knew he had to get up at 3 am to meet his morning obligation. It I could tell he wanted to get me on one. Finally at 10:30 I told the captain that it was ok that we could go in. This captain knows his fishing spots and will put you on them. I highly recommend him and I will 100 percent use him again.

Thank you for the nice review. I’m glad we stuck to the plan and worked our way out in rough water to the trout grounds before heading down to the Salmon. Your kids did a great job on the rod and reels.

Awesome Day!

What a great way to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We had an absolute blast, caught 2 King and 2 Cisco on a tough day weather-wise. Our fellow anglers moved locations and Jordan was patient and persistent. He knows his stuff! When returning to the boat launch many others were left empty handed as they said “salmon were elusive” for the day. We heard a small number of Lake Trout, and one Cisco. We were happy with our catch thanks to Jordan.

Awesome captain and great trip

This was our family first fishing trip on a charter boat as we celebrated my Bday. Captain Jordan was awesome! Communicated very well before the trip to make sure we know where to go and what to bring. Within a half hour after setting up our lines we had a huge salmon. Then we got a trout, salmon and another huge trout. At the end of our trip, Captain Jordan cut and cleaned the fish for us. My family and I had a blast and I would highly recommend Captain Jordan. Definitely would do it again.

We had a great night out with Jordan. He was very knowledgeable of the water and sport. Jordan took us out to two locations for lake trout and salmon. He was very persistent and patient. Jordan wanted the catch as much as we did! We were fortunate to catch a lake trout and salmon at the first location prior to moving to the second. We had success again at the second. My daughter got a 22# salmon! We were the last boat out on the water, ensuring every last bite. Thanks for a memorable trip
