I’ve had a lot of fishing guides over the years, but this day with Captain Kyle felt different from the minute we stepped on board with his warm and enthusiastic welcome. The day was pure adventure in the locations we fished and species we encountered, and all we learned about the Keys (our first trip there) and fishing tips and techniques for this area. The boat was very comfortable and well equipped. That night we took our catch to a local beachfront sports bar Kyle recommended (Hog Heaven), where they served it up while we listened to live music. An exclamation point on a great day. More than anything, Kyle’s passion for what he does and knowledge he loves to share comes through in abundance. We will be back to Islamorada and look forward to booking Captain Kyle again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Backcountry Fishing Experience with Captain Gabor I recently went on a fishing charter in the Florida Keys with my two sons and my brother-in-law, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience thanks to Captain Gabor. From the moment we got started, Captain Gabor put us on fish. Throughout the day we caught multiple species and stayed busy the entire trip. What really stood out, though, was how much we learned. Captain Gabor took the time to explain techniques, positioning, and strategy in a way that made the day both productive and educational. These are fishing lessons my sons and I will never forget. One moment that perfectly captured his dedication and professionalism happened when he was helping remove a hook from one of the fish we caught and accidentally got hooked in the hand. It was entirely my son’s fault, but Captain Gabor handled it with incredible patience and good humor. He shrugged it off, kept the mood light, and continued the trip with the same energetic, optimistic attitude he had all day. If you want to experience real backcountry fishing in the Florida Keys, I highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Gabor. Great fishing, great instruction, and an even better attitude. It was a fantastic day on the water for our family.

Best captain around! We went out and were on fish immediately! We will be back again and use Kyle! Worth every dollar, you'll want to book with him for sure! Boat was clean, gear was in great shape and absolutely a ton of bait. We had a big grouper on the line and it rock bound us, he got it free and handed it back over to reel it in an saved the catch! Would recommend for kids or a party trip for adults. He'll cater to what you want! He has a big cooler for your food and drinks, and dry storage on board. Just show up and fish! To top it off we saw tons of dolphins and a manatee!

We caught many fish. Captain Kyle was awesome with helping my wife and getting her in the right spot to catch many different ones. On our way back he didn't rush and turned around so we could enjoy the dolphins riding waves and viewing triple tail. Great music. Great conversation. Our hooks never went unbaited and even with the high winds we never hit hard rides to and from. We will definitely use him for our next charter.

My wife and I fished with Kyle Gabor. 1/2 day trip in Islamorada produced a variety of Sharks (Bonnet Head, Spinner and Bull) Two large Sharks busted our 65# leader! Kyle is very knowledgeable Captain, knows the waters and the fish. This is my 5th trip in the Keys, and one of the best ones. We will be back again this time next year and will hook-up with Kyle again!
