Captain Carlos and Alex went the extra mile to make sure we were the only boat to catch a fish today. 8ft Striped Marlin was the catch of my life! Thank you Escualo!

Full Day Deep Sea Fishing
7 1/2 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing le July 27, 20222 adultes3 enfants
Not my first time deep sea fishing but by far my most memorable. Took 2 of my kids ages 10 and 12 with us. Within the first 45 minutes, we had already caught multiple fish and the day just kept getting better. Do not hesitate to book with this team.

Could have been better in a few ways
5 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing le January 1, 20255 adultes
While the captain and crew were nice we didn’t feel like we were given an “experience “. Not once did we touch a reel. Had two bites that the captain handled and lost. Had 3 teenagers and we just would have preferred to fish for something not as difficult as marlin but was told to just keep waiting as they could “see tails”. While we did get a couple bites and saw a couple jump it wasn’t the kind of fish we really were looking to go after as we wanted something a little easier for our group. I asked 2-3 times if we could try for something else but he seemed to have his own agenda. Also no water or soda was available. Captain had to give us his when one of our kids got sick. The boat was in “fair” condition. No garbage cans or amenities to help have a good time while waiting for a bite.

Bad day, tired or lazy crew.
5 Hour Trip – Deep Sea Fishing le April 9, 20244 adultes
I've never seen a crew do so little. In 5 hours of trolling, I think they checked or refreshed the bait on the lines once without us insisting. Because we insisted, some lines got checked twice in 5 hours, but not all of them. And sure enough, when they would reluctantly pull in a line at our suggestion, no bait. Well, after two hours what did you expect. I've been on many deep-sea fishing trips and the crew always seemed to be busy. Checking lines, refreshing bait, pulling on the deployed lines to create bait action, and lots of other activity as well that I can't classify because I've never crewed a boat. This crew seemed interested in doing as little as possible. And what a surprise, no fish! Last time I went on a trip years ago in Cozumel and got no bites trolling, the crew stopped the boat in the shallows on the way back and we bottom fished. They cared and didn't want us to go home empty handed. I just assumed this would happen on this boat too. Nope! Straight back to the dock with just a shrug of the shoulders from the crew. Never touched a fishing pole in 5 hours. But on the positive side, at least the crew caught up on some apparently much needed rest. We still tipped them well. We're Americans, we can't help but to tip, even with bad service. But the tip notwithstanding, I wouldn't go with this outfit again, certainly not this crew.
