Prêt à attraper du poisson à Cairns ? Cairns Sportfishing est là pour que cela se réalise ! Avec le capitaine Gavin à la barre, vous êtes entre des mains compétentes et expérimentées.
Les poissons dans ces eaux comprennent la Loche saumonée, la Carangue géante, le Gueule rouge, le Thazard-bâtard, le Bec-de-cane bleuté, le Capitaine, le Barramundi, et bien d'autres avec un peu de chance. Vous ciblerez vos prises par pêche légère, popping, pêche à la traîne, pêche à la dandinette, pêche de fond, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région.
Le capitaine Gavin accueille les enfants à bord, donc toute la famille peut venir et se déconnecter pour la journée ! Assurez-vous de demander si des gilets de sauvetage pour enfants sont disponibles, sinon vous devriez apporter les vôtres. Et vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper avec des collations pour que personne ne devienne grincheux le ventre vide !
Vous pêcherez à bord d'un Eagle Ray de 20' à console centrale avec une capacité de 5 passagers, cependant s'il s'agit d'une aventure sur le récif, nous ne prenons que 4 personnes. Nous limitons également par âge pour le récif entre 14 ans et 60 ans pour des raisons de sécurité. Il a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une journée productive sur l'eau. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre confort. Les cannes, moulinets et matériel sont fournis par la sortie encadrée, ainsi que les leurres. Les appâts vivants sont disponibles, mais assurez-vous de vous renseigner à ce sujet pour savoir si vous devrez les attraper vous-même.
Vous pourriez avoir besoin d'acheter un permis de pêche local avant la sortie. Cette information est généralement disponible en ligne, ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine. Certaines espèces peuvent être interdites ou nécessiter une étiquette spéciale, alors assurez-vous de savoir à quoi vous attendre.
Il est toujours sage d'apporter de la crème solaire (non en spray) et des lunettes de soleil. Les boissons sont incluses, gratuitement. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, assurez-vous simplement d'éviter les alcools forts ainsi que les bouteilles en verre.

Great Barrier Reef-Great fishing!!
Full Day Trip – Inshore&Reef le January 20, 2026 • 1 adulte
Right from the start Captain Galvin worked hard and it continued to the last minute. The quality and quantity of fish was excellent! We caught about 15 different beautiful species. Nannygai,gold band snapper and mother in law fish were huge and very hard fighting!! Stripeys, honeycomb cod, and tomato cod were some of my favorites and gougeous! It was the trip of a lifetime! Thank You

Conditions and fishing were not ideal. However Gavins vibe, personality, persistence to achieve the best experience for his client shined bright. I truly will remember this experience and hope to fish with Gavin again one day. He is a top notch guide.
in the end we achieved the desired result wbd caught a few ifnout target species.
i highly recommend him as your choice for a fishing guide

We only caught 1 fish but thats mother nature for you. Our captain worked so hard with live bait and us casting lures and took us multiple places. He knows his stuff and he was a very enjoyable captain.

Great day at the estuary
3/4 day estuary fishing le March 11, 2026 • 2 adultes
Gavin was our captain and we had an amazing time. We netted our live herring for bait and set out to fish. While we did not catch our target fish. Our first catch of the day was a mud crab. We also caught a little grunter and a gold spot cod, a queen fish, a barred grunter and two nice sized blue thread salmon. It was a very successful day on the water.

Gavin was an absolutely amazing captain! Had a struggle in the morning trying to get live bait as the tides were changing but still managed to get us onto a good array of fish and showed us some really cool spots!
Amazing bloke and full of knowledge, would recommend him to anyone looking to go fishing in Cairns!
