Nous vous présentons le capitaine Dennis Hodge Jr., affectueusement surnommé Brody. Né et élevé sur la magnifique côte d'émeraude, Brody a développé dès son plus jeune âge un amour profond pour l'eau et les mystères sous la surface du golfe. Il a commencé à pêcher dès qu'il a pu marcher et en est passionné depuis. Son enthousiasme pour la pêche était si profond qu'il rêvait de diriger son propre bateau de pêche encadrée pour partager sa passion avec d'autres personnes du monde entier.

Le parcours du capitaine Brody a commencé sur un bateau de pêche collective bien connu à Destin, où il a rapidement accédé au poste de premier lieutenant au cours du premier mois. Son dévouement, son travail acharné et son amour de la pêche l'ont finalement conduit sur l'un des meilleurs bateaux privés de Destin, où il a perfectionné ses compétences dans la capture de poissons de sport. Après avoir rempli toutes les conditions nécessaires, Brody a passé et réussi brillamment l'examen de licence de capitaine OUPV/6-pack du premier coup.

Aujourd'hui, le capitaine Brody est impatient de partager son expertise et son amour de la pêche avec vous et vos proches à bord de son propre bateau privé, un Hatteras Sportfish de 36 pieds.

Captain Brody was awesome!!! Commutation great from the beginning. Found the boat, he explained everything, we made the trip out. The water and scenery was beautiful!!! As we were headed out, I felt sick, captain took great care of me immediately! My boys started catching fish quickly! Mr. Bill,the deckhand, was amazing with helping them and keeping the bait on the hooks. He filleted all the fish we caught so quickly. Super fun day! My one recommendation is take Dramamine 2 days before the trip. But we love the experience and crew! Thanks Captain Brody and Mr. Bill. We will see y’all next time. This momma will get the biggest fish next time. lol!

Best Fishing Trip

4 Hour Trip - 2:00 PM le July 15, 2025 • 4 adultes

I took my adult kids lol out on this boat and it was perfect. We caught the most fish we had ever caught and almost landed a huge fish. The crew were very knowledgeable and were right on every catch. The even gave us tips on how to fish that we did not event know. We loved the cabin that was air conditioned to give us a break from the son. :I wish we had left earlier and stayed later. The captain is so much fun and showed so much excitement to have us on board you could tell that he loved what he was doing. The fishing mate had a vast amount of experience and gave us tips which helped us catch more that we would have normally. We are definitely going to do this trip with this team again. Mike

Capt Brody and first mate Bill

One of the first things that Capt Brody said when we had our pre departure meeting was, we’re best friends on this trip! For me, that speaks volumes! That actually put a smile on my face and I was like fish on! Capt Brody was so engaged with my wife and son along with first mate Bill. First mate Bill made sure you always had bate on your hook. Watching Bill put bate on was super fast. It was a slow start but, Capt Brody said, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish! I love that! I would highly recommend Joyce K fishing Charters.

Fantastic Trip

We went out in foul weather conditions, but Captain Brody and his first mate still put us on the fish. Caught over 10 different species of fish, including a black seabass, that almost made the state record. We limited out on mengos. Caught and released some large red snappers, over 20 pounds. If you were going to take a charter, this is definitely the one to take.

WOW! Tip to tail fish and Sharks!

5 hour trip le October 16, 2025 • 4 adultes • 2 enfants

You will not be disappointed taking a trip with Captain Brody! Our 5 hour excursion flew by! He got us in Bonito's as we trolled out for some bottom fishing. Surprisingly difficult to real up those fish! We all caught fish trolling, even my 6 year old got to reel some. Bottom bouncing was non stop action. White snapper, Vermillion snapper, rock fish, trigger fish and many others! The finale was a shark double. My wife and I both had on 10 foot plus sharks that both made it to the boat. Like bull shark for the wife that we got to see for a brief minute before it bit the line and a nurse shark for me. We got pictures and a video of this fight from Captain Brody. Deck hand Bill was a huge help keeping us fishing and helping get the sharks to the boat. If you have time, book a day out with with Joyce K. Charters. You won't regret it.
