Catherine Anne Sportfishing and Excursions vous invite à découvrir les eaux magnifiques de Southport. Ayant accumulé de nombreuses heures sur ces eaux, le capitaine Steele les connaît sur le bout des doigts.
Marlin bleu, Marlin blanc, Voilier, Coryphène, Thon à nageoires noires, Thazard-bâtard, Thazard barré, Thazard atlantique, Mérou noir, Vivaneau ti-yeux, Fanfre noir d'Amérique, Cobia, et bien d'autres espèces peuplent ces eaux, selon la saison. Vous pourrez pratiquer la pêche au lancer, le popping, la pêche à la traîne, la pêche à la dandinette, la pêche de fond, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région. Le capitaine Steele peut également vous initier à la pêche au cerf-volant.
Les enfants sont absolument les bienvenus, alors n'hésitez pas à amener toute la famille ! Des gilets de sauvetage pour enfants sont disponibles. Les clients sont encouragés à apporter des collations et toute boisson spécifique qu'ils souhaitent, le bateau fournit de l'eau pour rester hydraté tout au long de votre sortie !
Le capitaine Steele opère un Revenge de 36' à console centrale personnalisé pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 passagers. Ce bateau exceptionnel est l'un des plus grands, des plus rapides et des mieux équipés de notre région, ce qui se traduit par plus de temps de pêche et de confort sur l'eau. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre commodité. Votre capitaine fournira les cannes et moulinets, ainsi que les leurres. Les appâts vivants sont inclus, mais il est bon de poser la question pour savoir si vous devrez les attraper vous-même.
Certaines sorties sont effectuées avec l'aide d'un premier lieutenant. Le capitaine et le lieutenant travaillent dur pour que votre sortie soit réussie, donc un pourboire de 15 à 20% est d'usage.
Le bateau de pêche encadrée couvre votre permis de pêche, présentez-vous simplement prêt à passer un bon moment ! Certains poissons ont des réglementations spéciales, notamment concernant les périodes où vous pouvez les garder. Si vous ne savez pas à quoi vous attendre, demandez au capitaine. Il est toujours sage d'apporter des lunettes de soleil, de la crème solaire (non en spray) et de l'eau en bouteille. Des boissons seront disponibles pour vous. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, mais essayez d'éviter les alcools forts ainsi que les bouteilles en verre.

Tough day on the pond.
6 Hour Trip – Offshore le May 6, 2026 • 4 adultes
The fish didn’t want to bite today. We had to work for the fish that we brought home, but that’s fishing. Captain Steele put us on-top of fish, but for whatever reason they weren’t interested. Caught fish today that I’ve never caught (False Albicore and Needle fish) before.. Also we caught Red Snapper, Sea Bass, Red Vermillion Snapper and shark.

Captain Steel was great. Super down to earth and knowledgeable about all think fiahing and not in the Southport area. I took my normally cautious 5 year old for a 2 hour afternoon trip. With very little description of us and specifically my sons fishing experience Captain Steel thoughtfully prepared a game plan for us so that we could do something a little different than we were used to and get a good taste of fishing in the ocean. We caught spanish mackerel, bluefish, and near the end tried some shark fishing and reeled in a 5ft Bull shark. Too large in fact to get into the boat but we got plenty of photos and sent him in his way. It was awsome. We will absolutely be back. Thanks Captain Steel.

We had a fantastic girls trip out on the water with Captain Steele! He knew exactly where to catch the fish and even put us right on top of the shark for our best chance to catch one! The 4 hour trip was perfect and the boat is beautiful! Outstanding outfit- will use Catherine Anne any time we’re in Southport! All details are taken care of, super easy, fun and exciting trip!!

Tricky day fishing but Cpt. Steele delivered

Capt. Steele was very communicative and an incredible guy! Conditions were tough offshore so we went inshore and after some break offs we train a few different spots until Capt. Steele put us in the bite. It wasn’t the best bite that day but Capt. Steele worked tirelessly and got us on the fish and sent us home with dinner. A fantastic boat and quality gear and great hospitality and expertise got us a great day and good memories. Steele even gave us a lunch recommendation that hit the spot!

Great 12 hour Gulfstream Trip
10 Hour Trip – Gulf Stream le September 7, 2025 • 4 adultes • 2 enfants
The wahoo weren't cooperating but we caught a mess of mahi, blackfin and skipjacks. Captain Steele knows his stuff and was great with my 9 year-old. While other boats in the area were giving up on trolling and going bottom fishing, Captain Steele found the fish and figured out what they wanted. At one point, we had 5 or 6 fish on the line at the same time (chaos but in a good way); on several other passes we had at least 2 hooked up at once. Will definitely fish with Captain Steele next time we're in the area.
