Bienvenue chez Roanoke Sportfishing - votre prochaine aventure au large des Outer Banks ! Avec le Capitaine Elliott à la barre, vous êtes entre des mains expertes et expérimentées.

Selon la saison, vous pourriez ferrer du Marlin bleu, du Marlin blanc, du Voilier, du Thon rouge, du Thon obèse, du Thon à nageoires noires, du Thon albacore, de la Coryphène, du Thazard-bâtard, et tout ce qui mord. Le Capitaine Elliott s'efforce d'adapter chaque sortie à vos besoins spécifiques, alors faites-lui savoir ce que vous recherchez !

Votre aventure commence à bord du 'Roanoke', un bateau de pêche sportive de 50 pieds construit par le légendaire constructeur naval local et capitaine de bateau charter, Sheldon Midgette. Il dispose de la climatisation, de trois fauteuils de combat, et de tous les équipements essentiels d'une véritable machine de pêche. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre confort et le bateau peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 passagers.

Le Capt. Elliott met à votre disposition des cannes et des moulinets, ainsi que des leurres et des appâts. La sortie encadrée comprend votre permis de pêche, vous n'avez donc qu'à vous présenter prêt à passer un bon moment ! Gardez à l'esprit que vous devrez peut-être relâcher certains poissons en raison de la réglementation. Si vous ne savez pas à quoi vous attendre, demandez au capitaine.

Un Premier Lieutenant sera présent pour s'assurer que tout se déroule bien. Un pourboire de 20 % est d'usage pour témoigner votre reconnaissance de leur travail acharné.

From start to finish, my experience with Roanoke Sportfishing was excellent. The booking process through FishingBooker was smooth, and the directions to the boat were clear and easy to follow. Parking was convenient, and finding the dock was no problem at all.

Captain Elliott was professional, welcoming, and made the whole trip enjoyable. He made sure we were comfortable, explained everything clearly, and knew exactly where to take us for the best fishing opportunities. His knowledge of the area and dedication to making sure everyone had a great time really stood out.

We ended up catching a great variety of fish — barracuda, bonita, mahi, tuna, and Spanish mackerel — which made the trip even more exciting. The boat was well kept, the gear was ready to go, and the entire experience felt organized and stress-free.

Whether you’re an experienced angler or just looking for a fun day on the water, I would highly recommend booking with Roanoke Sportfishing. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the Outer Banks!

Great experience and very accommodating!

6 Hour Tower Trip le August 18, 2025 • 6 adultes

We initially had reserved for the day after we went but an approaching storm was going to prevent us from going. Captain Elliot was very kind and reached out to us ask if we would like to go early. We were stoked and made the trip. We left port, grabbed a bunch of baitfish and headed off to find our cache of fish. Roanoake sports fishing did not disappoint! Within two minutes of reaching our fishing grounds we were slaying 20 lb amberjacks which put up a great fight. We filled our quota and trolled for awhile on the way back to wanchese catching false albacore. Needless to say the boys and I had a wonderful time and recommend Captain Elliot’s tower trip. 10/10!!!

Amberjack and Spanish

6 Hour Tower Trip le June 4, 2025 • 3 adultes • 3 enfants

Captain Elliott and first mate Wyatt were excellent. They put us on the Spanish early and we caught over a dozen , then headed out to the tower to catch amberjack . What a fight ! Nothing like I’ve ever experienced. Everyone on board caught at least one , and we only kept three because it’s plenty for us to eat. Captain and crew were very friendly, shared conversation with us , and far exceeded our expectations. Will definitely go back out with them next time . We’re enjoying our catch tonight for dinner . Amberjack ceviche and on the grill . Nothing like fresh fish right out of the ocean .

Fun Day!

Had a great time with Roanoke Sportfishing! Captain Elliot put us on fish from the first line out, and First Mate Wyatt was fast and knowledgeable. Lines were managed perfectly the entire time ensuring that we were getting the most out of our 4 hours. On top of that, the conversation was fantastic! These guys are the real deal. Boat ride out was smooth and relaxing, really captured the essence of the OBX. We were planning our next trip with Roanoke Sportfishing before we even got back to the dock. See you guys next year!

6 hour tower trip

6 Hour Tower Trip le August 11, 2025 • 6 adultes

6 of us headed out on 8/11 after catching some live bait in the harbor. 1 hr run to the navy tower 25 miles offshore put us on some nice 30lbs amberjack which was a lot of fun for everyone. Trolled for dolphin and bigger creatures for 45 mins at the end. Weather was nice and the boat more than capable. Capt and crew were attentive. A nice combo trip for someone wanting more than inshore fishing but not wanting to do a 12 hr full offshore trolling trip.
