Le Capitaine Jerry Vrbanovic est un capitaine certifié 100 tonneaux par la Garde côtière des États-Unis. Son père était pêcheur commercial, et Jerry a grandi en admirant le travail de son père et en l'aidant chaque fois que son bateau revenait au quai des pêcheurs de San Pedro.

Il adorait ramener des sacs de thon, bar, sériole à queue jaune et sébaste sauvages. Lui et son père préparaient souvent des plats traditionnels croates, car ils adorent tous deux cuisiner et nourrir les autres.
Jerry rêvait de gérer sa propre entreprise de pêche sportive dans le golfe du Mexique et a décidé de faire de Sarasota son port d'attache. Son objectif est d'offrir à ses clients une excellente journée de pêche. Il adore renvoyer les gens chez eux avec du poisson magnifiquement fileté, prêt à être cuisiné et dégusté !

We were originally planning to head out to fish the reef but the water wasnt going to cooperate with that. So, we stayed inland and the Captain found us some nice spots to fish. we reeled in some mangrove snapper, crevalle jack, and even a small flounder that we had to release. Stickney Point bridge was a bit of a bust - but the Captain made sure the boys got to fight a few last fish before we headed in for the day. We’ll definitely head out on another charter (hopefully to deeper waters) and when we do, the only Captain we are calling is Jerry!

Waves were a bit rough and he found a great spot where we caught a lot of snapper, along with some other species. He recommended a great location that cooks your catch and it was absolutely amazing, putting the final stamp on a great day. I definitely recommend and we will be booking with Wild Catch Fishing Charters again!

Captain Jerry very quickly returned by call, was truly excited we booked, and assured me that we would catch fish, which we did. On a 4 hour afternoon trip, Captain Jerry quickly put us on the fish. We caught 5 Spanish mackerel, 2 large sheepshead, and 6 grunt. Captain Jerry was very engaging and a nice person. I would definitely recommend fishing with Captain Jerry Vrbanovic with Wild Catch Fishing Charters!

Loaded up the boat & headed to a close spot for a few quick catches. Then headed another 7 miles out where everyone in our group each caught multiple fish. Captain Jerry was great about moving to the next spot if the fish werent coming. Very pleased with our excursion. Will be coming back to fish again or for a day charter around Siesta!

I booked a fishing trip with Captain Jerry for my son (10) and me during his Spring Break. We had a fantastic time. Capt Jerry communicated great leading up to the trip. He even offered to flex our time because it was going to windy. (We couldn’t due to flights.) Marina is easy to get to and boat is easy to get on. Great time out to get fishing and Capt Jerry knows where to go. Most appreciated is he focused on my fishing fanatic son and helped him catch a bunch of fish. My son wants to go back…so do I.
