Il y a un poisson qui vous attend à Quepos et Wahoo Sport Fishing Quepos vous aidera à le capturer ! Avec le capitaine Melvin à la barre, vous êtes entre des mains compétentes et expérimentées.

Les prises principales incluent la sériole, le barracuda du Pacifique, la coryphène, le mérou balai, le marlin bleu, le marlin noir, le voilier, le thon albacore, le wahoo, le poisson-coq, le brochet de mer, et bien plus encore si les conditions le permettent. Vous pourrez pratiquer la pêche au lancer, le popping, la traîne, la dérive, le jigging, la pêche au fond, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région. Le capitaine Melvin propose également la pêche à la mouche, mais vous devrez peut-être apporter votre propre équipement de mouche. Pour les plus aventureux d'entre vous, la pêche sous-marine est disponible.

Le capitaine Melvin croit qu'il faut apprendre aux enfants à pêcher dès leur plus jeune âge, alors n'hésitez pas à venir avec toute la famille ! Les enfants doivent porter des gilets de sauvetage, alors renseignez-vous pour savoir si la taille appropriée est disponible à bord. Des collations sont également une bonne idée pour rester en forme tout au long de votre sortie !

Le capitaine Melvin dirige un bateau à console centrale de 24 pieds pouvant accueillir 4 passagers. Il dispose de tous les équipements essentiels sans lesquels aucune machine de pêche ne peut fonctionner. Le capitaine Melvin fournira les cannes et moulinets, ainsi que les leurres. Les appâts vivants sont disponibles, mais il est bon de se renseigner à ce sujet pour savoir si vous devrez les capturer vous-même.

Un matelot sera à bord pour que votre sortie se déroule sans accroc. Il est d'usage de donner un pourboire au matelot de 10 à 20 % pour témoigner votre appréciation.

Avant de monter à bord, il se peut que vous deviez acheter un permis de pêche local pour tous les membres de votre groupe. Cette information est généralement disponible en ligne, ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine. Certaines espèces peuvent être protégées ou nécessiter une étiquette pour les garder, alors assurez-vous de savoir à quoi vous attendre.

Ce n'est jamais une mauvaise idée d'apporter des lunettes de soleil, de la crème solaire (non en spray) et un chapeau. Des boissons seront disponibles, mais informez le capitaine si vous souhaitez apporter les vôtres. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, à condition d'éviter les spiritueux ainsi que les bouteilles en verre. De la nourriture et des collations légères seront incluses à bord.

Half Day Trip – Inshore le April 9, 2026 • 4 adultes

We booked this half-day trip for my son’s 14th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect! Captain Melvin and first mate Christian went above and beyond to make the day special. They were patient, knowledgeable, and kept the energy high the whole time. My son landed his first mahi-mahi and sailfish, which are moments he’ll never forget! The boat was spotless, the equipment was top-notch, and everything ran smoothly. It was the perfect mix of excitement and fun. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable fishing experience from Quepos, Costa Rica. 🎣

Great Day With Captain Adril and Esteban

Full Day Trip – Offshore le February 18, 2026 • 2 adultes

We fished offshore with Captain Adril and first mate Esteban last week and had an excellent trip. We hooked 4 sailfish and landed three. The fourth went crazy and airborne 30 feet behind the boat and broke off. The crew worked hard to hook every fish that came into our spread. This was a smaller boat but was well equipped. There were plenty of soft drinks, water, snacks and excellent sandwiches. Esteban even cut up an ice cold pineapple for us. This was a great experience for my son-in-laws first offshore trip. I highly recommend Wahoo Sportfishing, Captain Adril and first mate Esteban.

10/10. Snook, Rooster and catfish

Half Day Trip – Inshore le February 15, 2026 • 2 adultes

It was a pleasure and great experience chartering with wahoo sport fishing out of MARINA Pez Vela on February 15, 2026 Captain Andrew and mate Greibin were very knowledgable of the fishing grounds from catching bait fish to landing three different species of fish. This was a very hands-on charter for my wife and myself and extremely happy on the entire trip… from the cold beverages to the mid afternoon, fruit, snacks, and of course, catching snook, rooster, fish, and catfish. I definitely recommend Wahoo Sportfishing for a day out on the water! Thank you again, guys for a great experience here and beautiful QUEPOS, Costa Rica Pura Vida

Great day fishing in Quepos

Half Day Trip – Inshore PM le January 15, 2026 • 3 adultes

We are inexperienced fishermen and booked a half day afternoon inshore trip with Captain Melvin’s boat Wahoo and his crew, Adriel and Zachary. We met Captain Melvin at the pier, and had a little trouble finding the right spot - it is not at Marina Pez Vela but keep going down the same road to the very end. Adriel and Zachary did a great job setting us up and we went out and caught four Amber Jack right away. Next we moved to a different spot and caught a Spanish Mackerel. After that, we trolled along the beach and caught two Rooster fish. Had a nice snack with fresh pineapple and then headed back to the dock at 5. We had a great time and really appreciate our crew. Highly recommend the experience and we will book again next time.

Great Fishing, Great Crew, Even Better Day

3/4 Day Trip – Inshore le January 4, 2026 • 2 adultes

I had an amazing fishing trip today after chartering this boat for just me and my girlfriend with the goal of targeting roosterfish. The crew was on it from the very start — we were the first boat out of the harbor and the first to reach the baitfish grounds, which really set the tone for the day. The fish were biting all day long. A lot got off, but that was on me, not the crew! Thanks to their experience and guidance, I still managed to land two solid roosters. These guys absolutely know what they’re doing and will put you on fish. On top of the great fishing, the hospitality was outstanding. There were plenty of beers and cold drinks, loads of snacks throughout the day, and fresh pineapple served on board — honestly some of the best pineapple I’ve ever had. As if that wasn’t enough, we were treated to seeing dolphins on two separate occasions and even spotted turtles, which made the trip even more special. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a top-tier fishing experience. Very experienced crew, great vibes, and an unforgettable day on the water. 🎣🐬
