Borderline Adventures propose des sorties pour emmener votre groupe sur l'eau et découvrir ce qui fait revenir les pêcheurs encore et encore. Avec le capitaine Rob à la barre, vous aurez un guide compétent, sympathique et expérimenté qui veillera à votre sécurité sur l'eau !
La pêche dans ces eaux vous offre la possibilité de capturer de la truite de lac, de la truite commune européenne et de la truite arc-en-ciel (Steelhead), du doré jaune, du saumon royal, du saumon argenté, et bien plus encore si vous mettez vos lignes à l'eau au bon moment de l'année. Selon l'espèce que vous recherchez, vous vous retrouverez à pêcher à la traîne juste sous la surface jusqu'à plus de 60 mètres de profondeur, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé selon les désirs de votre groupe.
Les sorties avec Borderline Adventures sont ouvertes à toute la famille, alors faites-en une journée en famille ! Nous sommes entièrement équipés avec un gilet de sauvetage approuvé par l'USCG pour 6 passagers (six adultes et/ou trois enfants).
*Les enfants doivent porter un gilet de sauvetage en tout temps ; veuillez donc apporter le leur s'il est plus confortable !*
Le capitaine Rob dirige un bateau de pêche sportive Trojan de 9 mètres avec un espace confortable pour 4 passagers sur le pont et plus en bas dans les quartiers d'habitation. Il y a des toilettes à bord pour votre confort !
Vous trouverez des downriggers, du matériel de planer, des cannes, des moulinets, des leurres et du matériel de pêche déjà installés et prêts pour votre équipage. Des appâts vivants ou coupés seront également utilisés à certaines périodes !
Les sorties sont effectuées avec l'aide d'un premier lieutenant. Il est d'usage de donner un pourboire au lieutenant de 10 à 20 % pour montrer votre appréciation.
Vous devrez obtenir un permis de pêche d'État avant la sortie. Ces informations sont généralement disponibles en ligne. Demandez au capitaine si le permis du MN ou du WI est nécessaire avant la date de votre sortie. Le lac Supérieur est un plan d'eau réglementé nécessitant une copie papier EN MAIN, alors assurez-vous de l'avoir avec vous.
Bon équipement à apporter :
Permis, eau, collations, lunettes de soleil, crème solaire, vêtements en couches. Il y aura quelques articles essentiels à bord, mais il est toujours préférable d'apporter les vôtres !
L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, assurez-vous simplement d'éviter les bouteilles en verre.

We had a great trip me my wife and son was on a road trip so we booked it last minute. Captain Rob was great to go with we stayed in the harbor because there was big waves out on the lake. Captain Rob also knew a lot of history and very knowledgeable about all the surroundings which made it much more enjoyable out on the boat. I would highly recommend anybody wanting to go on lake superior go with borderline adventures. thanks again to Captain Rob for also letting our son pick out lures that he would want to use casting lines and making some decisions. I would recommend anybody taking their kids.

Absolutely recommend Borderline Adventure LLC!!! Had a wonderful overall experience.
I surprised my husband for our 30th anniversary with an afternoon fishing trip with Captain Rob and his Dad. We had the best time out on the water and this gift will be hard to top for future anniversaries! With Captain Rob's professionalism and expertise, we caught 2 beautiful Lake Trout and experienced the most beautiful and colorful sunset I have ever seen. He also gave us great tips on how to catch salmon on the MN north shores for once we were back on shore. His first mate (his Dad), was so nice and was concerned the whole trip on our comfort and wanted to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. They are both so kind and really made this trip our best experience ever! I recommend Borderline Adventures to anyone in the area and we will definitely book another trip if we are ever anywhere near there again.

Captain Rob and his dad took my girlfriend and I out on their boat to troll for lake trout. Before going on the trip, he was very communicative and answered all of our questions. When we arrived, he was super excited and took us out on the water. He shared his knowledge with us and what we were fishing for and how we were fishing rather than just saying "wait for a fish" after setting up the lines. We caught three good size lake trout and lost another fish close to the boat. He provided plenty of snacks, water, and anything else we needed to have a good time. It was great talking with him as well. Some guides aren't very personable or nice, but that was not the case here! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Our oldest son wanted to go fishing for his 13th birthday. Our experience exceed our expectations in SO many ways! The Captain and first mate were incredible. They taught our kids so much about fishing, were beyond patient with the 1000 questions they asked, made the trip enjoyable and honestly - we will 100% be back. The boat was super clean and provided everything we needed and then some! They made our fishing trip so enjoyable. Highly recommend booking with them.
