J'ai plus de 30 ans d'expérience de pêche locale et j'ai hâte de partager l'eau avec vous et de vous faire prendre du poisson tout en passant un bon moment.

Envie de lancer une ligne dans la région des Finger Lakes et certaines parties du lac Ontario ? Fish Pimpin Guide Service est votre solution ! Avec le capitaine Steven à la barre, vous êtes entre des mains compétentes et expérimentées. Il est un capitaine principal entièrement licencié et assuré.

La Truite de lac, la Truite commune européenne, le Saumon australien, le Saumon argenté, le Saumon kéta, la Perchaude et bien d'autres peuplent ces eaux, selon la période où vous y allez. Vous pouvez vous attendre à faire de la pêche au lancer, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région comme la Pêche à la dandinette. Désolé, pas de Pêche à la traîne ni de planer boards, pas de pêche à l'achigan.

Votre bateau pour la journée est un Lund Alaskan tiller de 18' de 2022 avec de la place pour 3 passagers. Il a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour une journée productive sur l'eau. Votre capitaine fournira les cannes et moulinets.

Avant de monter à bord, il sera nécessaire d'acheter un permis de pêche local pour tous les membres de votre groupe. Cette information est généralement disponible en ligne, ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine.

Quelques articles à apporter incluent de la crème solaire (non en spray), un chapeau, de l'eau en bouteille et des lunettes de soleil. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération. Apportez une glacière à laisser dans votre véhicule si vous prévoyez de garder du poisson, je fournirai la glace. Le nettoyage du poisson est toujours gratuit comme toujours.

Great Charter with an excellent Captain!

4 Hour Trip – Lake Trout/Perch le September 16, 2025 • 2 adultes

My wife and I booked a charter on Cayuga Lake with Captain Steve and had an incredible experience. We were visiting for the week and wanted to target some of the local species—especially lake trout. Within minutes of dropping our first line, we were already catching fish!

We’ve been on charters all over the country, and I would easily place Captain Steve in the top 5%. His knowledge of the lake and the fishery was outstanding, and he was attentive to every detail—right down to letting us choose between spinning or baitcasting gear. He’s patient, an excellent coach, and clearly passionate about what he does.

The boat, an 18-foot Lund, was comfortable and perfectly suited for this style of fishing. From the very start, it was obvious how much Captain Steve loves his work, and that energy carried through the entire day.

Highly recommended!

Great captain/guide.

The fact that not a single fish was caught, but that I would book with Captain Steven should speak volumes of the positive experience that he provided. The weather was surprisingly miserable, windy and cold for the end of August, but Captain Steven still provided an amazing time; especially so with my 13yo son. He took the time to answer all of his questions (of which there were many) and really tried his best to make things happen, but it just wasn't our day. Regardless, I was thrilled at the lessons that he was able to provide to my son and we had a great time on the lake nonetheless. I HIGHLY recommend booking with him if you are looking to have a great experience on the lake.

It sure was some miserable weather that day. Even thought the weather and fishing were a challenge; being able to share knowledge and get your dog and family out made it a very good day in my book.

Awesome fishing trip

4 Hour Trip – Lake Trout/Perch le August 5, 2025 • 2 adultes

Drove up from Kentucky to catch perch and lake trout.  Lost count of the perch and caught a good size lake trout.  All due to great guide services. I would and will be recommending to everyone I know.  

Steven was very knowledgeable, having 25 years of experience fishing the finger lakes. He taught technical fishing and tackle, how to target each species, and helped me understand the fish finder better ( I just bought my own and I’m learning it.)

Boat was nice, clean and well stocked with tackle, water and soda if needed.  Steven was welcoming, friendly and great guide and teacher.   Book him for a great trip!

Wonderful day on the water.

My son and I traveled from MD to Cayuga lake near Ithaca to fish before we headed over to Cooperstown for a baseball tournament.  Our experience was top notch with Fish Pimpin Guide Service.  We fished a 4 hr trip and were fishing the entire time, the boat was perfect to fish any and everywhere and was comfortable to sit and cast or stand and move around.  Steven was super knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good tips and tricks for fishing the finger lakes.  We had a great day on the water targeting trout and perch.   We hope to book future trips with him on our return trips to the region to fish.
