If fishing in Grande Riviere Noire is on your bucket list, look no further than SAICON. With Captain Frederic at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Yellowfin Tuna, Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Great Barracuda, Amberjack, Bonito, and who knows what else!

Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself popping, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Frederic also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks – luckily, Capt. Frederic will have some on board!

You'll be welcome aboard a 60' sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10% tip.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.
