Ces eaux sont réputées pour l'Achigan à grande bouche, le Pomoxis, le Poisson-lune et bien plus encore – avec un peu de chance, vous le découvrirez par vous-même ! Selon l'espèce que vous recherchez, vous pourriez vous retrouver à pratiquer le Frogging, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région.

Vous planifiez une aventure en famille ? Les enfants sont absolument les bienvenus ! N'hésitez pas à demander si des gilets de sauvetage pour enfants sont disponibles, sinon vous devriez apporter les vôtres. Vous êtes les bienvenus pour apporter des collations afin d'éviter toute fatigue en cours de sortie !

Vous lancerez vos lignes depuis un bateau de pêche Ranger Z520R de 20 pieds avec de la place pour 2 passagers. Il est équipé de tout l'essentiel. Vous trouverez des cannes, des moulinets et du matériel qui vous attendent, ainsi que des leurres. Vous êtes toujours les bienvenus pour apporter votre canne à pêche porte-bonheur.

Avant de monter à bord, il sera nécessaire d'acheter un permis de pêche local pour tous les membres de votre groupe. Cette information est généralement disponible en ligne, ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine. Certaines espèces peuvent être protégées ou nécessiter une étiquette pour les garder, alors assurez-vous de savoir à quoi vous attendre.

N'oubliez pas d'apporter de la crème solaire (non en spray), un chapeau et des lunettes de soleil. De l'eau sera disponible, mais informez le capitaine si vous souhaitez apporter vos propres boissons. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, à condition d'éviter les spiritueux ainsi que les bouteilles en verre.

Tough day and still got results

Crappie Day Trip - Neuse River le March 22, 2026 • 2 adultes

Lifelong fisherman and student of all things fishing, I knew going into this trip was going to be difficult based on recent weather patterns and the spring transition patterns. Captain Shawn was determined to get us on fish and it was a true pleasure to fish alongside him and see firsthand how good he is at what he does. After poking around several
spots we finally found fish willing to participate. Captain Shawn was a great host , very accommodating and makes a good fishing charter regardless of experiece. Will definitely book another trip again.

Great Sunday Fishing on Neuse River

Evening Trip (Neuse River) le July 27, 2025 • 2 adultes

Shawn was very response and clear all communications.  His Ranger bass boat is super cool and well organized.  Aside from my grandson and I catching several 1-2 lb. bass, we enjoyed hearing about the Neuse River ecosystem, local fish migration trends,  and also tourneys in which Shawn competes.   Look forward to another trip in early fall.

Full Day Trip with Captain Shawn

Full Day Trip – Multi Species le February 22, 2025

Captain Shawn was incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters and kept us on fish all day.  We are new to fishing and he was patient and gave excellent instructions to catch fish. My son and I are looking forward to our next trip.  Great with kids and very polite.

Fishing with Shawn

I was never offered anything out side of a drop shot worm. Asked for a shallow crankbait and got a weak excuse. Ievn asked if i should bring tackle and was told no.  The guide fished out of the front of the boat casting to every spot and fish he saw on ffs before i had a chance. Waste of money.

Hey Chris, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It’s always my goal to give my clients the best chance of catching fish. This includes bait & rod selection matching clients skill level, selecting fishing areas holding fish, and using forward facing sonar to confirm fish are in the area. We had discussed prior to depature from the dock that I provide tackle, you stated you wanted to get your tackle for top water which you did. You were permitted to use your tackle alongside mine during the trip which you choose to do for a large portion of the trip. Unfortunately there are aspects to fishing that are out of my control. I do apologize that it was a difficult fishing trip and wish you had had a better experience. -Captain Shawn
