Le capitaine Andy Austin est un spécialiste de la pêche à la mouche ! Il possède également 15 ans d'expérience en pêche au lancer avec leurres artificiels et appâts vivants si c'est votre préférence.
Les espèces locales incluent le tarpon, le mérou noir, le tambour rouge, le brochet de mer, la truite de mer tachetée, la sériole, le cobia, le croupia roche, le thazard barré, et bien d'autres, selon la période de l'année. Durant la sortie, vous pourriez pratiquer la pêche au lancer, la pêche à la traîne, la pêche de fond, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région. Le capitaine Andy propose également la pêche à la mouche, tous les montages et mouches nécessaires seront fournis.
Les sorties avec Andy's Fishing Charters sont adaptées aux enfants, toute la famille peut donc venir se déconnecter pour la journée ! Le capitaine Andy opère un skiff Hell's Bay Marquesa de 18 pieds pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 3 passagers. Il est équipé de tous les éléments essentiels dont une embarcation de pêche ne peut se passer. Votre capitaine fournira les cannes et moulinets, ainsi que les leurres et le matériel. Les appâts vivants sont disponibles, mais il est bon de se renseigner sur les espèces que vous souhaitez pêcher pour déterminer la meilleure stratégie.
Votre permis de pêche pour la journée est inclus dans la sortie encadrée, vous n'avez donc qu'à vous présenter prêt à passer un bon moment ! Gardez à l'esprit que certaines espèces peuvent avoir des règles spéciales ou des saisons limitées. Il suffit de demander et votre capitaine pourra vous en dire plus.
Vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper en apportant des lunettes de soleil, un chapeau, de la crème solaire (non en spray) et de l'eau en bouteille. Si vous souhaitez apporter d'autres boissons, demandez simplement. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, à condition d'éviter les bouteilles en verre.

Went out for a fishing trip with my wife and cousin who lives in the area. I have fished saltwater a few times myself including private charter deep sea fishing for Dolphin Tuna. This was the first time doing any saltwater fishing for my wife and cousin. This trip with Andy did not disappoint. We hit our first fishing spot within 5-10 minutes of departing from the boat ramp and it wasn't much more than 5 minutes until we had double hookups. Fish couple catches were grunts, and a very large catfish. Our next double hookup landed us 1 very large sized snapper and a 2nd larger one that we lost at the boat. We spent a couple hours pulling lots of different types of fish out of this spot. We left that spot with at least 3 very healthy sized snapper, the wife had caught 3 nice large catfish in that area and a couple other odds and ends. My cousin managed to catch some xl pinfish with the pitchers which was hilarious. They wouldnt go to waste as we were able to use them as bait at the next spot to try and target some much larger fish. All 3 of us got a shot to use the big pinfish which we had 3 of to try and hook into a grouper. My wife and I had great hits but we're unable to get a good hookup. My cousin managed to get a good hookup but unfortunately the line broke just as the fish was getting near the boat. We had a visit from a dolphin that followed us around for a while which was a nice bonus. We bagged 3 more very large snapper in our 2nd spot 2 of which were the largest Andy has pulled out of the water all year. We moved around to our 3d and final spot which we managed to catch a nice mix of stuff the wife managed to get another catfish except this time it was a nice sized sailfin catfish, we had a ton of ladyfish going after our bait as it dropped and we were able to bag 1 more really nice Snapper. My cousin had 1 more run in with a large grouper which ended up running him down into some object or rocks and wouldnt budge it eventually frayed the line enough to snap it again. We had a great time and it was nice to have action throughout our entire fishing trip. Would absolutely book with him again when we come back down. If you're looking for someone that knows where the fish are hes the guy. Not to mention he specializes in fly fishing for Tarpon, Snook, and red fish.
My brother, father, and I had a great experience with Andy. My brother and father are both amateur anglers, so there was a bit of a learning curve. But Andy was very knowledgeable and professional. We told Andy we’d like to catch some fish we could eat, not picky on species, and if we caught plenty to eat maybe try something new. Andy did that exactly. We caught several keeper snapper and trout, as well as several other species. Once we had plenty of fish to keep, Andy took us to another spot and let us try a different style and target some species we’d never caught. Overall great trip!
Captain Andy was very knowledgeable of the area. He had a very nice boat to fish from and was very accommodating to fishing styles. I have always wanted to fly fish for trout, reds and snook. He put us on the fish and knew the best hours of the day, to fish to have the most success. I would highly recommend Andy for your next fishing trip. I will fish with him again if I’m ever back in this area.
we saw so many fish and the captain took the time to make sure we knew what we were doing and get us into the fish. Knocked an amazing bucket list fish off the books. My girlfriend and I had a great time on the water fishing with Andy! We caught lots of fish - many of which were different species. It was our first time saltwater fishing and Andy did a terrific job educating and teaching us. If you’re looking for a new or fun experience, Andy is your guy.
