Bonjour, je m'appelle Joseph et je suis le fier propriétaire local de Roatan Reef Explorer Tours ici à Roatan, île de la Baie du Honduras.
J'ai toujours été passionné par la pêche depuis mon enfance. Être sur l'océan et attraper du poisson est la meilleure thérapie pour moi ; c'est comme si votre esprit se connectait avec la nature et que vous ne faisiez qu'un. J'ai commencé à pêcher avec mon oncle Earl, à l'époque où nous utilisions une pagaie pour nous rendre au récif et pratiquer la pêche de fond parce que nous n'avions pas les moyens d'acheter un moteur. Maintenant, me voici à vous offrir les meilleures sorties de pêche de notre île.
Notre bateau est un Bayliner de 26 pieds sur 8 pieds modifié à notre goût avec un moteur hors-bord Yamaha 200 4 temps écologique
Équipé de 5 porte-cannes à l'arrière, 2 tangons, 6 porte-cannes sur le T-top, cannes à pêche, moulinets et leurres fournis.
Montez à bord pour en faire le navire parfait pour vos sorties de pêche : demi-journée, journée complète ou pêche de nuit. Que vous soyez un pêcheur expérimenté ou un débutant, nous avons ce qu'il vous faut.
Les sorties sont effectuées avec l'aide d'un premier lieutenant.
Poissons ciblés : Coryphène (Mahi Mahi ou Dolphin), Thazard-bâtard, Thon albacore et Thon rouge, Grand barracuda, Bonito, Vinaneau rouge, Thazard barré (Kingfish), et plus encore.
Vous pouvez vous attendre à pratiquer la pêche au lancer, la pêche à la traîne, la pêche à la dérive, la pêche à la dandinette, la pêche de fond, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région.
Votre permis de pêche pour la journée est inclus avec la sortie encadrée ; présentez-vous simplement prêt à pêcher ! Veuillez noter que vous devrez peut-être relâcher certains poissons en raison des exigences réglementaires. Votre capitaine vous aidera à respecter la réglementation pendant que vous pêchez.
Ne partez pas de chez vous sans crème solaire et lunettes de soleil. Des boissons vous seront fournies. L'alcool est autorisé avec modération, évitez simplement les alcools forts ainsi que les bouteilles en verre. Il y aura quelques collations légères pour vous à bord.

We had such a fantastic day on the water with Roatan Reef Explorers and Captain Joseph! These guys were incredibly kind, funny, super knowledgeable, and especially great with our young son—they made the whole experience fun and relaxed for our family. While we didn’t catch everything we were hoping for, Captain Joseph worked hard to get us to the best fishing spots and kept things entertaining the entire time. The snorkeling was absolutely beautiful and a highlight of the day. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun, memorable experience in Roatan!

We had an incredible experience with Roatan Reef Explorer Tours and Captain Joseph. From the moment we met him, you could tell this isn’t just a job for him—it’s a lifelong passion. He’s been fishing these waters since he was a kid, and that deep local knowledge really shows once you’re out on the water.
Joseph and his first mate worked nonstop to make sure we were on fish and having a great time. We did a mix of trolling and drifting, and the action didn’t disappoint. We had shots at species like mahi, tuna, and kingfish, and learned a lot along the way.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or a first-timer, they make the trip fun, easy, and stress-free. If you’re visiting Roatan and want an authentic fishing experience with a local captain who truly loves the ocean, this is the charter to book. One of the highlights of our vacation and I wouldn’t hesitate to fish with Joseph again.

Joe and his mate, Aaron, were great hosts. Finding Joe at the port was very easy. His van was air conditioned and it was a short drive to the boat. The boat was perfect for the trip. Joe was really nice and personable and easy to make conversation with. I really enjoyed his company and learning about him and the island. Our trip was great and I caught tuna and barricuda! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone for a great fishing experience. As a female solo angler I felt very safe and comfortable. A family joined me on the trip and I would expect that they would have the same great experience.

The boat was clean and well-equipped, and they took us straight to great fishing spots. We caught some impressive fish and the crew was super helpful with baiting hooks, giving tips, and making sure we didn’t miss a catch.
What really stood out was the overall experience—the views were beautiful, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and you can tell they truly enjoy what they do.

We finally realized our lifelong dream of deep-sea fishing while in Roatan for a wedding. What a blast these guys were!!! Joseph truly LOVES his job! I think he’d fish 24 hours a day if he could stay awake. Lol. We were blessed to spend several hours with Joe and Cesar in the beautiful Caribbean waters and caught enough fish to make us deliriously happy. We can’t wait to go back!!!! They both have such a great sense of humor it is a pleasure being around them. Cesar even cleaned our fish. You guys are the best!!! We can’t wait for our next adventure with you!!
