Si vous comptez lancer une ligne à Richmond, ne cherchez pas plus loin que Skylar's Fish On Charters.

Avec un peu de chance, vous pourrez cibler la Crevette, le Saumon rose à bosse, le Saumon argenté, le Saumon royal, le Saumon kéta, et bien plus encore. Vous ciblerez vos prises en pratiquant la pêche légère, la pêche à la traîne, la pêche à la dandinette, la pêche de fond, ou peut-être quelque chose de plus spécialisé dans cette région.

Vous pensez emmener toute la famille ? Les enfants sont absolument les bienvenus ! Les enfants doivent porter des gilets de sauvetage, alors renseignez-vous pour savoir si la taille appropriée est disponible à bord. N'hésitez pas à apporter vos propres collations pour éviter toute fatigue en cours de sortie !

Votre machine de pêche pour la journée est un bateau de pêche en aluminium Gospel de 21 pieds pouvant accueillir 5 passagers. Il dispose de downriggers et de tout l'équipement essentiel. Vous trouverez des cannes, des moulinets et du matériel qui vous attendent, ainsi que des leurres.

Avant de monter à bord, vous devrez acheter un permis de pêche local pour chaque membre de votre groupe. Cette information est généralement disponible en ligne, ou vous pouvez demander au capitaine. Certaines espèces peuvent être interdites ou nécessiter une étiquette spéciale, alors assurez-vous de savoir à quoi vous attendre.

Il est toujours sage d'apporter de la crème solaire (non en spray), de l'eau en bouteille et des lunettes de soleil. Si vous souhaitez apporter d'autres boissons, demandez simplement. L'alcool n'est pas autorisé.

I had an absolute blast on Skylar’s Fishing Charter! Pravin was our captain for the day on an 8-hour charter, and from start to finish, it was an incredible experience. His boat was spotless, fully equipped with all the bells and whistles, and you could tell right away that safety was his top priority. He took the time to explain everything — navigation, fishing techniques, locations, weather patterns, water conditions — which made the whole trip even more interesting and educational. We launched out of Richmond and headed out to drop crab traps near UBC, then set our prawn traps before finishing the day trolling for salmon. I’ve never done crabbing, prawning, and salmon fishing all in one trip before — it was the ultimate BC seafood experience! Before the trip, Pravin was completely upfront and honest, letting me know that salmon fishing had been slow. But he was confident we’d likely limit out on spot prawns and crab — and he was right. Eight hours later, we landed 4 salmon, 6 Dungeness crabs, and trap after trap loaded with spot prawns. And honestly? The spot prawns alone made this trip unforgettable. Being able to bring home fresh spot prawns in February is incredibly rare — you usually have to wait until May to even see them in stores. As a big spot prawn fan, this was a dream come true. This trip was worth every dollar. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this charter to anyone in BC or visiting BC. If you want a fun, hands-on, and truly memorable day on the water — this is it!

I booked this fishing charter as a special way to celebrate my father-in-law’s 70th birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Neither of us are experienced anglers, but Pravin was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and generous with his advice. He took the time to explain everything clearly, from setting up the lines to the fishing technique, which made us feel comfortable and confident out on the water.
