Bienvenue à bord du Mathis, où l'océan cesse d'être une carte pour devenir votre propre légende. Votre voyage commence à la plage Herradura, près de l'exclusive Marina Los Sueños, l'épicentre mondial de la pêche sportive. Dès le premier accueil, vous sentirez qu'il ne s'agit pas d'une simple sortie commerciale, mais d'une expédition signature. Notre capitaine, expert dans la lecture des pages invisibles de l'océan, vous guidera personnellement pour que vous preniez vous-même le contrôle de la ligne et ressentiez le véritable pouls de la mer.
Nous naviguerons vers le 'grand bleu' à la recherche de grands marlins ou explorerons les structures rocheuses côtières, selon ce que la marée dictera ce jour-là. En chemin, vous verrez l'horizon prendre vie : les oiseaux marins marquant la frénésie du thon et les coryphènes bondissant dans une chorégraphie naturelle sous le soleil costaricien. Ici, la technique rencontre l'instinct ; vous apprendrez à maîtriser le Popper avec précision ou à attendre la tension du marlin avec la patience d'un maître.
En attendant la grande prise, vous dégusterez des fruits locaux frais, des collations et des boissons fraîches sous la brise du Pacifique dans une atmosphère de camaraderie totale. Nous ne cherchons pas seulement la prise ; nous voulons que vous viviez l'expérience d'un pêcheur authentique. Qu'il s'agisse de relâcher un majestueux voilier par respect pour l'espèce ou de sécuriser un thon pour le dîner, chaque minute sur le Mathis est un paragraphe d'une histoire que vous raconterez pendant des années. The boat crew is nothing short of exceptional—professional, efficient, and clearly passionate about what they do. They consistently put us on fish, and their knowledge of the local waters is impressive. Outstanding Full Day on the Water
8 Hr Offshore: Deep Sea Battle le March 14, 2026
This was our third year in a row fishing with Gersón and the Mathis Fishing Legends team, and once again they absolutely delivered. We landed eight sailfish and had an unforgettable day on the water. The captain spoke perfect English, which made communication effortless, and the first mate was fantastic—quick to help us handle each fish so we could get great photos.
The crew was lightning‑fast getting fresh bait back in the water so we could stay in the action, and they kept us comfortable with fresh fruit, a great lunch, and shade from the sun. The boat was well‑equipped, clean, and clearly run by someone who takes pride in what they do.
They think of everything, and that’s exactly why we keep coming back. If you’re looking for a top‑tier fishing experience with a team that knows how to make every moment count, I highly recommend fishing with this crew.

Half day trip with captain Walter
5 Hr Inshore: Battle for the Reef le March 6, 2026
Such a wonderful experience--from start to finish! Speaking with Gersón provided reassurance and helpful information about the half day fishing trip we were interested in. He was so kind and assisted us in any way he could! Captain Walter and mate Mauro were great! This was a very special trip for a Marine Veteran and having the experience of reeling in a powerful Roosterfish was extraordinary! They also made a wonderful montage of the trip and wrote a great fishing update including our catch! This was very meaningful to us! We can not recommend Mathis Fishing Legends enough!

Will never forget that fishing day, great team, great knowledges, and big results, ok not a « promenade en ponton » waves and waves !!!
