Mile Marker 27 Fishing Charters propose des sorties de pêche personnalisées dans le sud des Keys de Floride, de Big Pine Key à Key West. Ces eaux préservées abritent une grande variété de poissons, grâce aux nombreuses îles et récifs disséminés dans la région. Le capitaine Jim Loftus pêche depuis toute sa vie et possède l'expérience nécessaire pour une sortie de pêche mémorable.

Vous pêcherez à bord d'un populaire et polyvalent Coastal Skiff 23' à console centrale de 2025 qui offre une navigation confortable et une excellente visibilité pour la pêche jusqu'à 4 personnes. Propulsé par un moteur Suzuki de 140 CV et équipé d'un GPS et d'un détecteur de poissons, le bateau peut rejoindre les spots de pêche rapidement. Il dispose également d'une glacière pour garder vos boissons fraîches tout au long de la sortie.

Mile Marker 27 Fishing Charters vous donne l'opportunité d'explorer une large gamme de zones de pêche, des hauts-fonds et flats de l'arrière-pays aux récifs et épaves proche du large. Que vous souhaitiez tester vos compétences contre la Banane de mer, le Pompaneau plume et le Tarpon, ou passer quelques heures agréables à pêcher sur les récifs et épaves pour attraper des Mérous et des Vivaneaux, il y a une sortie pour vous.

Le capitaine Jim fournira tous les appâts, l'équipement et les permis nécessaires pour une sortie agréable. Vous pêcherez principalement avec des appâts vivants, bien que des appâts coupés et artificiels puissent également être utilisés.

Capt. Jim is great to fish with! We caught tons of snappers and hooked into sharks and tarpon too! Jim is knowledgeable, friendly and very enjoyable to fish with!

Very safe professional operation.  Beautiful boat. My son and I had a great day put fishing with captain Jim.    We learned a lot and had fun.  We caught enough fish to eat and my son (11) has lots of stories to share!

Half day with Capt. Jim

Half Day Trip – Backcountry le July 17, 2023 • 2 adultes

I took my mother on a half day trip with Captain Jim. He was an excellent guide, as good as any I have been fishing with (and I have been on guided trips from the northern end of British Columbia to Ixtapa Guatemala). He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and above all knows where to find fish. You would be hard pressed to find any better guide in the Keys. He even shared his recipe for blackened snapper with me and stuck around for cocktails at the tiki bar.

Whether you are an experienced fly fisherman or a novice looking to have fund you will get you money's worth with Captain Jim.

P.S. He is the preferred guide for Texans visiting Key West.

Full day trip with Cpt. Jim

Full Day Trip – Backcountry le January 5, 2023 • 2 adultes

The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars for experience was because the fishing was awful as far as what Cpt Jim says he usually catches with people. We DID catch a lot of fish, but 1 keeper Snapper and that was all. Everything else too small. You can't control where the good fish are! It was a fun trip and we learned a few different fishing setups we can use in the future. Cpt Jim is very knowledgeable and didn't mess around if we stopped at a new spot and weren't catching a lot; he would tell us to reel in and we would move again. Overall, would definitely recommend to anyone, and will book with him again if we go to Marathon in the future.

Half Day Back Country

Half Day Trip – Backcountry le July 31, 2023 • 2 adultes

Jim is a great captain who really knows the area and has some amazing knowledge when it comes to fishing. He was very informative from the start of the charter all the way until the end. We filled the cooler fast and had a blast doing it, we will be eating good for days. If your visiting the keys and want to do some fishing I would definitely recommend Capt Jim. Great experience throughout the whole trip, I'll be booking him again during the next tarpon migration!
