Road Work Ahead propose des sorties de pêche encadrées sur les eaux du Long Island Sound. Basés à Stamford Harbor, ils ont le privilège de pêcher des bars rayés et des tassergals de taille trophée. Ils peuvent également pêcher des espèces de récifs comme le Blackfish, le bar commun et les dorades grises.
En automne, ils se spécialisent dans la pêche de la thonine commune, insaisissable, qui migre dans le Long Island Sound pendant 4 à 5 semaines lors de sa migration automnale.
Vous pêcherez à bord d'un solide Cabo Express de 31 pieds, propulsé par deux moteurs Yanmar de 300 CV, avec une vitesse de croisière maximale de 38 nœuds. Ce bateau est une excellente plateforme de pêche et comprend un GPS Garmin, ainsi qu'un détecteur de poissons Garmin pour localiser les meilleurs spots de pêche de la région.
Le bateau dispose également d'un vivier pour les appâts, d'une glacière pour les prises et de tangons pour maximiser vos chances de capturer du poisson. Il y a aussi des toilettes à bord, ce qui est un plus lorsque vous sortez en famille.
Road Work Ahead vous fournira le matériel de pêche comprenant cannes, moulinets, équipement et appâts. Vous aurez également un permis de pêche et vos prises seront nettoyées et filetées à la fin de votre sortie, vous pourrez donc simplement vous détendre et profiter de votre journée sur l'eau avec un équipage formidable.

We are so happy we booked with Captain Lou and had a fantastic fishing trip. His vessel 'Roadworks Ahead' is simply brilliant. Well equipped, comfy, an ideal fishing platform and stocked with tackle that made me green with envy! Captain Lou was superb. A friendly, open and honest gentleman with years of fishing expertise. He knew exactly where to hit the marks, what bait/lures work best for the conditions and was absolutely brilliant with the younger fishing team. We thoroughly enjoyed his company. Honestly, if you are looking for a great charter, look no further. We can not recommend Captain Lou highly enough. Thanks for an amazing day!! :-)

This was an awesome experience for my grandsons, son in law and me. Fish were plentiful and the mix of blues and stripers perfect. Having 3 bid fish on at the same time was really exciting and a scramble. Pictures were hard to come by as we were all busy catching fish and routing on others.

Trip was great. Captain Lou was knowledgeable, friendly, and tried multiple spots to try and catch fish. Since the fish weren’t biting, he even extended the trip until we caught some porgies to take home.
