BuiltforSpeed est détenu, exploité et entretenu par le capitaine licencié Chris Speed. Avec 40 ans d'expérience à maîtriser et pêcher les eaux locales de Vancouver en toutes saisons. BuiltforSpeed est un croiseur express Zeta Marine de 24 pieds, un bateau de pêche entièrement équipé, couvert, stable et rapide. Il y a beaucoup d'espace de sièges couverts confortables pour quatre pêcheurs pour profiter d'une journée sur l'eau. Un moteur inboard Mercuiser383 de 330 CV sur une jambe BravoIII et un moteur de traîne Mercury silencieux et sans fumée de 15 CV, réglé pour obtenir la vitesse exacte requise lors de la pêche à la traîne pour le saumon. Sont inclus 2 écrans Garmin de 12 pouces détecteur de poissons/GPS, VHF Standard Horizon, chaîne stéréo AM/FM, toilettes privées, glacières. 4 downriggers Scotty HP avec des cannes légères de 10,5 pieds et un grand inventaire de cuillers, leurres souples, têtes plombeuses et flashers, tous montés et attachés par le capitaine Chris, contribuent à un excellent taux de capture à chaque sortie !
Les sorties durent 5 heures et peuvent être prolongées à n'importe quelle durée si désiré. Au départ de Horseshoe Bay, c'est l'emplacement privilégié qui offre une excellente opportunité pour le saumon royal et toutes les espèces à seulement quelques minutes du quai. La pêche à la traîne pour le saumon est une pratique standard à Vancouver. Vous serez équipé de cannes, moulinets, matériel, leurres et appâts de qualité. À votre retour, vos prises seront préparées, emballées et mises sur glace pour le transport afin d'en profiter à table. Le transport aérien avec du poisson est autorisé.
Un permis de pêche en eau de marée de la Colombie-Britannique valide et imprimé avec étiquette à saumon est requis. Veuillez apporter vos collations et rafraîchissements avec vous. Honest captain, Vancouver Fishing

Had a great trip with captain Speed. Beautiful scenery the entire time. Snow capped mountains, great seas, good company, and some good fishing.
Pricing was considerably less than Vancouver city pricing verus guides around Granville Island, but a short 15 or so minute drive north.
Captain Speed knew the area, put us on the fish, views of the area were beyond beautiful, worked hard the entire time, and was good company.
But most importantly, he was an honest business owner and fisherman. I had over booked our trip last minute and he was quick to point out it might not be what I
expected, and talked himself out of a few hours of fishing. His honesty alone made us stay the whole day.
If you are looking for a great fishing experience, magnificent views, and an honest captain to steer you right on a Vancouver area fisging trip, call Captain Speed.

Simple as that. Chris is a flawless technician of the art. it is obvious that his skills and instincts are ingrained after so many years on the water, but he still displays raw excitment on the hook-up. An unbeatable combo. We were able to fish within ten minutes of the marina, followed the bait and had at least ten solid strikes. Landed a 15 pound winter Chinook, a 7 pound wild coho and several smaller chinooks. Lost another real nice Chinook right at the boat. Between hits, Chris shared his extensive knowledge and passion of the sport. During a short lull in the action, Chris sensed a change of presentation was required. We couldn’t get the second rod set up before we had a fish on the first! Ad an experienced and travelled angler, I say again, Just Book It!

I booked a day of salmon fishing with Captain Chris for my husband and two sons as a surprise birthday present. They had an amazing day and it exceeded their expectations. Horseshoe Bay is a great starting point since it takes only minutes to reach a good fishing area. My son caught his first salmon within minutes of putting his line in the water. Chris was very knowledgeable, very well equipped with all the necessary fishing tackle, and gutted and cleaned all the fish they caught. My boys are already planning on going again next year and I suspect this will become an annual boys trip. Many thanks to Chris for a great day!

Had a great time time fishing with Chriss
He contacted me way before my trip to make sure I am all set for the trip and walked me through all the required paperwork ( fishing licenses).
We were not lucky enough to catch a keeper but we had a blash catching and releasing Chinooks and Wild Cohos.
He explained all the safety aspects and how to use all the fishing tackle.
If you want to catch some salmon and have fun while doing it, make sure to reach out to Chris.
